Doesn't work for me. =/
Worst $6 bucks I've spent on the App Store so far.

Hi,

What problems are you having with the App? Which stations don't work? Try rebooting your phone (turning it off and on) and see if that clears things up.

Just downloaded this last night- *love* the UI, and liking the App so far as a whole.

TONS of stations available and they come in crystal clear, but the scanners weren't loading for me last night.

I've only tried the app over Wi-fi so far, but I was *very* pleased to find that my local ESPN station, which was broadcasting a sporting event, was only mere *seconds* behind what I was watching on TV. With Flycast, I've been as much as an inning and a half behind.

I just bought this app, and i must say i like it a lot.

I live in denmark and haven't found a radio app that contained danish stations until this one, so this is great :)

With that said, i also experince some crashes, mostly when the app finishes buffering and should start playing the selected station, then the app exits and i have to restart it.

I tried to restart the phone and reinstall the app but the problem remains, but only on some stations.

This is a bit annoying, but the stations i use the most works fine :D

Hi, I love this app so far, but I have not been able to get WEEI out of Boston to work. This is the main reason I bought this app, and it gets stuck on "Loading". Any help?

GO RED SOX!

Stations show up in Radio Time, but not in the app?

Has anyone experienced this? I specifically wanted a station that I can't get in any of the other streaming apps - it does appear on RadioTime but not in the app itself? Frustrating.

must admit, as much as I'm liking this app, I am finding it a little unstable. Too many dumping back to Home screen, freezing up after selecting a stream and the odd black screen. Not sorted by deleting and re-installing either, nor by restarts (bugs still happen if it's the first app used). Still, it's a nice app. Just hope an update is in the offing.

i'm having problems with it too. everything starts out okay and then buffering appears and it does a countdown from 100 and the audio stops. the only way to get it back is to exit and go back and choose the station again. i love that i can get my local am stations but it's no good if i can only listen to them for 5 min and then start over again.

Station list...

I wish they had a list of supported stations in any given region (before you buy the app and start looking). I see the station I want to listen to at radiotime.com but it's a station you have to "Launch the station's player (leave Radiotime.com)" Can anyone tell me if they can get KFAN - 1130 AM from the Minneapolis, MN?

Thanks!

hi

is there somewhere to get support for WunderRadio?
either that, or are there any other suggestions to get things working?

I bought this app a while ago, and I'm generally finding it quite useful. However, there's one station (and ONLY one) that I'm having problems with - and unfortunately it's actually the main reason I bought this app...

I've tried rebooting, and even deleting and reinstalling the app, but the problem remains.

the station is: Team 1040 in Vancouver, BC, Canada

problem: when I try to connect, the short intro audio ad plays just fine, but then I almost always get an "Audio Stopped" message when the main stream should start. Out of many dozens of attempts, I've only managed to have it stream successfully maybe 3 times in the past couple weeks. very frustrating...

if it's any help, after the initial audio clip plays, I see the following progression of status messages:
- "buffering" - counts from 100/100 down to 0/100
- "Connecting MMS server (via tcp)" - %counts up to 100
- (some other message that flashes by too quickly to see)
- "Audio Stopped"

the station streams fine on RadioTime. on my iPhone, the problem occurs whether on 3G or Wi-Fi.

can anyone help?
thanks in advance

See this link: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/apple-...461-wunder-radio-another-radio-tuner-app.html . You can send the developer, alansteremberg, a PM. Also, in the thread on ModMyi, the developer states that you can submit errors through the form that you can find if you click 'help' on the now playing page. I hope that that helps.

Can anyone check if 730AM in montreal works with this app?
Thanks.

just checked for you... I don't see 730AM listed in the Montreal section of the app.

it is listed on radiotime.com, however...

WunderGround is Wunderbar! But, for those hard to find stations (mostly anything that uses realaudio) you can try ooTunes. It runs as a server and you can connect through safari on the iphone (which while it's not as beautiful as a native app, has the advantage that you can still check your email or run other apps while listening.)

Also, there is an (ever growing) list of stations that work and a free demo so you can try things out before you buy.

No problem. I just noticed that alansteremberg also has an account with MacRumors - see post #3 to this thread! So you can send him a PM from MacRumors as well. I apologize for overlooking that! Just send a PM from both sites in case the developer is more active in one forum over another. Good luck with getting your matter resolved!

@vandy1997 thanks for the pointer, I'll go over to that forum and try PM'ing him.

In my experience, the ONLY thing this app has going for it is the number of stations, which is impressive. But it constantly drops the stream and does not handle any fluctuation in signal well - it simply hangs. And it's not the network either. I can stream the exact same station using AOL or Tuner fine, but Wunderradio will drop it. A great concept but as an app it is horribly unreliable making it essentially useless.

Ditto. If I could just keep a stream, I would love this app. As of right now, it's a good app, but the strem hanging and dropping really is irritating. I've been listening to a lot of talk radio during the election and it always seems to drop right about the time taht someone says something that I want to hear! It's maddening.

My experience with WunderRadio has been the complete opposite of this. I was in DC the last two days and spent a ton of time listening to Boston sports radio (WEEI) and talk (WTKK), without dropping the signal even once. Most of the time I was listening over wifi, but I had a couple of 30 minutes+ walks without any hanging or dropping.
