Yes, it's definitely nice to have swipe on Stock iOS Keyboard. I had to use a third party apps like Swiftkey. But after iOS 13, I'll be deleting that app.

Actually, Dark Mode is quite nice for those who own X/XS/XS Max, as it doesn't use much battery power due to the fact that with OLED, when the background is black, the pixel stays shut off (I know that this isn't possible on XR). Thus a true black background

I'll reserve final judgment on the Swype feature until I see it. I will say, it'll have to do more than just Swype, to replace SwiftKey.

No camera app updates, such as something to compete with Google's Night Sight? Bugger! I wonder if that may mean it's an iPhone 11 series only feature.

Good catch my friend!!! Dual sim is real as I've been using it since DAY 1 on T-Mobile.

Those two enhancements will be welcomed and much appreciated!!!

Excellent find my friend!!! I wonder though what prerequisites "Automatic" is following however!?

FYI: It's at the 34 second mark.
Saw in another video you can set it to sunrise or a certain time

Here’s a video with a lot of the stuff they didn’t announce on stage.

Finally you can see and connect to different WiFi networks straight from control centre!!

Thanks for sharing. Changing WiFi in control center looks quite handy.

Looks like apple finally sped up animations again as well.

Yeah, I'm feeling the deflation already beginning. There's only one leak with two hours to go, of the reminders app.

Sigh...

It’s incredible that apple has managed to plug almost all the leaks.

Still feeling the same?

Apple crushed it at wwdc19 can’t wait for iOS 13 or iPadOS.

It appears for the most part Apple actually listened this year to a lot of the little things that have been requested for quite some time to make changes on. I’m not referring just to dark mode, but iOS altogether with the volume indicator, battery regulation, Photo revamp, etc.

And the ability to access WiFi networks directly from the notification panel!!

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Still no introduction of my top 3 features (AOD, PIP, SPLIT SCREEN), but overall I was pleased. The Dual Sim enhancements you pointed out definitely have me stoked!

Yea apple delivered in spades. That Xdr monitor is just insane.

I know you want those android features but don’t think apple will introduce them next year either.

Oh man I was almost ready to switch to android and now this, i am screwed:)

My top feature was split screen but I wasn’t expecting it because there were no rumours. However the other features more than make up for it.

I can’t think of a time I’ve wished I had it on my phone. Maybe because I’m just a 7+.

Same here. Haven’t missed that feature one bit. I do tend to use my iPad way more than my phone though, the screen estate just gives me a much nicer canvas to work on.

I'm seriously considering doing the public beta for iOS 13.

Anyone hear ever done the public beta before!? If so, what's all involved with it, and based on your experiences would you recommend it!?

TIA!!!

I usually use the betas, and they work ok, maybe will consume more battery but usually are good enough for everyday use...

I must note that I didn't use iPhone since late last year, so that may have changed...

Wait until Public Beta 5 or 6 in August. The first few public betas will be exciting, but you'll likely find annoying bugs that affect daily usage.

Since i have two iphone XS Max(one for specifically beta testing (also on iUP) and one for my daily driver). So the one on my iUP will always be for ios Beta testing and my daily driver one won't have it. I don't put beta testing on my daily driver because as you know can get quite buggy sometimes, therefore, I prefer it on my iUP device. Also I never take the iUP device with and that stays home 100% of the time. But it's cool to play with a future software.

I’ve done it ever since they started the public beta program. No problems yet.

The biggest sacrifice is if it’s your only/primary phone, is battery life will be highly variable. Obviously every version of iOS poses different issues, but if it was me, I would likely have one phone as a back up for the testing itself and then my primary phone being separate strictly for my personal use. I would never have my primary phone being a ‘beta testing’ phone personally.

Stay the heck away from early dev betas if you're not developing for it. Public betas are a different story, but that's a month or more from now.

Even with public betas, I think Mojave was a bit outside the norm with how stable the beta was. I recall prior betas weren't that good.
