I want the iMac line to be changed to a 19" with 1680 x 1050 and a 21" with 1920 x 1200. I also want to see a 256MB graphics card as standard maybe X1600 Pro on the 19" and X1600 XT on the 21". Of course, that'll never happen but I can dream. :p

I'm just happy for the new increase in market share in N.A. for Apple & worldwide sales revenue & profits. THAT is the opener for sure.

Next I'd love to see some comparison of Vista being rewritten and how copying is the best admiration. Now, introducing a whole new way to look, view, use, and admire your Mac. The Leopard! completely groundbreaking tools and views.

Hardware, sure the Mac Pro; however the cheapest to be the 'small' tower every1 wants. Smaller case is stupid with upgradeability because not enough ppl wont buy, and JUST enough will kill sales considerably of the Mac Pro (as the last 4 qtrs have shown, the PowerMac G5 sales have slumped. No, we'll see one low-end, and a sweet spot mid tier model and pro end. Then a killer Gaming/Pro top-tier model.

I'd like to see in France how the upcoming XSERVE/XSERVE RAIDS are updated and how closely Apple is working with developers/scientific industry to utilize them in the industry or breaking new ground, but this is another topic.

I have a fealing a NEW commerative high end specialty model will debut before years end ... something for elite faithful to sell their souls for, and the naysayers to stick a thumb in their butts to shut their mouths about how Apple lost the design front. (ya hear those fools mentioning that portable Dell desktop looks like a Mac or what a Mac should look like). A limited production run.

Dare I imagine a new OS initiative for the business lineup? just like how the Mac took over the Lisa? something just for the business lineup that works & the CORE is based on Mac OS X? Nah I think i've been smoking too much.

New displays that are only 5-15% more expensive than Dell screens would really rock...

...or keep selling the old displays but let the price follow the competition. Dell +10% would be great ;)

A 23" for $799 would be awesome.

But Dells still have the end with their extra inputs. Right now I have two computers and digital cable box connected to my Dell.

I think Jobs will want the last new Macs to go intel, so he can say something like, Last year, we were here and Apple said at the start of 2007 we would be all intel, and we did it in only a years time!

A maybe a new ACD, and a new iPod(shuffle needs it bad)

itunes movies (rentals)

Hopefully a new ipod (nano with bigger flash drive probably, and a new case)

Mac Pro's

I'd also like to see some Merom in MBP's.

I think we have a good chance for 3 of those for sure, and maybe all 4.

It'd be nice.

do you really think there'll be updated nanos? especially in the middle of the back-to-school promotion? that doesn't make sense to me, but i could be missing something.

an affordable tower would be very nice as it would be more competition out there for dell, but don't you think that the mini is sort of an affordable tower? the only thing missing is upgradability, but when you think about it, you really don't need to upgrade that much. the RAM is upgradable (to a certain amount) and i'm sure you could put a bigger hard drive in there (up to the max possible). what else do you need to upgrade? for an affordable, tower-replacement machine, the mini does a good job.

this is just what i think, and i know other people don't see the mini as a tower-type machine.

i'm hoping for a full-screen iPod because the sooner it is out, the more developed and less buggy it will be when i'm ready to upgrade (in a few years).

Hindi is left to right, like most of the other Indian languages (maybe all but there are so many)

Upgraded MBP isn't much of a one more thing. It's expected.

An iPhone/PDA with video pod capabilities or a nice Media Center would fit the bill better. After all, either product would present possibilities that developers should start coming to grips with as soon as possible.

Hey, is there a going to be a live Webcast of this? Or is Macrumors going to do the minute by minute updates?

Remember this is a "Developer's Conference", an iPod is hardly a Developer topic. Unless.....;)

How long do you guys think it will be before people physically have their new 'Mac Pro's; ?

I wonder how many people actually want this?

I hear it a lot on these boards, and it's something I really want too. There are a few Windows machines like these and from what I see in coffee shops they seem to sell pretty well. Surely there's room for Apple to make one too.

I would like to see a light notebook like the old duo's. I think it would help Apple sell more Desktops if they offered a portable that is designed for light computer work and internet/media play. I have a hard time justifying buying a desktop or iMac when my Laptop comes so close to performing most of the tasks (albeit slower) that those systems offer. An extremely light and compact laptop or tablet would be great to have as a portable, and would justify buying a desktop for heavier computer work at home. Don't get me wrong, I love my G4 PB, but would love to give it a rest at home. It is just that Apple's take on laptops has been to make them portable desktops. Great for most of us. However, those systems are overkill for most portable situations. Apple should want to sell tweo computers to every Mac user. It has certainly worked in the iPod line.

What we'll get: A lot of pissed off Mac Zealots on MacRumors complaining that there was no QuadCore Tablet for $499 Hahaha. And a billion threads on what should I buy. It's all good though, 12days, it's like Christmas when you were a kid! Except now I buy my own (expensive) presents:( I'm still searching for my rich girlfriend!

I don't think that the MBPs will get a magnetic latch. The large screen size won't shut properly with magnets unless the magnets are of a reasonable size which would be hard to package (from a Mechanical Engineering student's standpoint). I'd like to see a 12" MBP but it's unlikely.

Agreed on this, I had that exact same thought earlier today as I was struggling to move some files from a child folder to its parent folder. On Windows XP it would take all of 1 seconds. On Mac OS I have to..

1) Select the files
2) Open new finder window
3) Oh noes, no "Open folder in new window" option, I have to navigate back to the folder I want (first folder's parent!)
4) Drag the files over and drop them

How the hell is it harder to do things the Windows way? Select files, CTRL-X, hit backspace to go to parent, CTRL-V.

I don't get it.

Or you could do it the easy way:

1) In the parent folder, command-double click the child folder to open it in a new window.
2) Drag the files.
