Depends on the type of autopilot / aircraft, and which instruments and controls its tied in to. Or if its set up it to maintain airspeed and heading, but not altitude, which is sometimes argued more efficient that holding the altitude.

True. I am used to flying the heavy metal in X-Plane that I tend to forget about the lowly general aviation aircraft. :p

Anyway, I bought the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Man is it a great aircraft to fly. :D I have to get used to how slow it slows down compared to the x737. Also the new V speeds. :)

Yeah, I never tried them because I only got xplane 9 to practice IFR approaches on 172/182, so I never tried the big ones. My discs and yoke aren't with me for a few weeks, I haven't even tried xplane on my 2010 mbp i7 yet, just my first gen one with the x1600. Im sure it will look a lot better lol!

Ill have to try the dreamliner ;)

Any speculation as to when X-plane 10 will come out? Is it a waste of money to buy 9 at this point?
