I dont know about you guys but I dont consider a 3DM05 score of 3800+ (without overclocking) on my MBP C2D 2.16ghz w/128mb of vram slow at all!!! Im sure you can get above 4000 with the 256mb version.
You have to consider that the MBP is very thin and therefore not very comparable to others such as Dell. I doubt we will see a change in the gpu for Jan.

It's true that it's thin, but I wouldn't say that doesn't make it comparable, since many of us would have given up another quarter to half inch for cooler temperatures and better performance.

That being said, it is still a damn fast laptop and you can overclock your videocard to the speeds it was made to run without much of any issues or increased heat. I plan on doing this soon enough :D

I dont want my laptop to be even 1.5inch think, even if it runs slightly faster than 1" laptops. Laptops are ment to be portable and light, not heavy and extremely fast.

Current Mac laptops combine both light-weightness, thinness and speed though!

BTW C2D MBP's video card is clocked properly. It was CD that was underclocked :)
