I got my MacPro back Wednesday they replaced the graphics card but the issue still persist. The people at the apple store clam that it is within spec. In an attempt to see if I could get the issue to go away I zeroed out the hard drive. Then reinstalled the OS. I even made sure not to have anything to do with the suspect screensaver. Never the less the Redraw is still appearing. So it your counting cards that appear not to work count both of my cards.

Too bad. My replacement is working perfectly. As is the complimentary 7300GT I got for my troubles. And nope...Didn't have time to OC the card since it was basically busted from day one.

To the people who have their ATI Card fail, did you overlock your Video Card?
No, other then adding some RAM my system is completely stock. I haven't had any problems with the new card, knock on wood, but then the last card went about 80 days before I had a problem. I did have a scare with returning the old card. The box kind of got misplaced somewhere between PostNet and DHL. No tracking info at all on DHL for a couple of days and they couldn't find any record of it ever being scanned in. Suddenly the $1300.00 non return fee didn't seem so funny. Luckily DHL finally found it and got the card to Apple.

I talked to level two tech support, they confermed the issue and passed it on. Hopefully apple will find a fix for this.
