X1900 XT Upgade kits, shipping yet?

neat. do you know if the cards are compatible with HDTV, ie if you use DVI, If i add a blu-ray drive or hd dvd, to play movies. will it be compatible?

or will it downvert the picture quality?

Someone want to advise me on if I should pruchase this card now or wait for the replacement? I can hold off with the 7300GT for a few months no problem but if the card is to be replaced in three then I'd prefer to wait. Isn't there a 1950 out there?

is anyone using this card for 3d appls like c4d, maya, etc? i know the x1900 is a better card for games, but atis generally perform pretty poorly compared to nvidia in these apps. just wondering if anyone could comment on the x1900's performance in preview renders.

i also just noticed that the quadro isn't offered as an upgrade kit, so that limits my options to either sticking with the 7300gt or going with the ati.
