Or so the update claims.

I'm currently downloading now, but I'm at work so it'll be a while before I can test it out.

Hope to get some feedback from those who've tried it!

Ugghh... this one will definitely lure me to jb
How well does the TBT work eplchamps? Can you
do a test run?

This is what I'm wondering. I've had xGPS on my phone for the past month eating up space (completely worthless app up until now) waiting for this update.

I hope it's worth it!!

1.2 kicks a$$!!!!!!!!

Apple should be ashamed of themselves for not giving us Turn by Turn! But luckily we got it now...!

No, the old one wasnt worthless to me because I dont have a data plan on my iphone. It was difficult to use but it worked, most of the time. Im still setting up the new one.

If you have 3G, do you need the Dongle....or will it work with the native GPS??? That's something I can't find an answer to on thier blog or product site....

So you're saying it works as it should?

How's the voice quality? Have they improved the accuracy of the speedometer? Any bugs/defects you've noticed yet?

Come on man!! I'm dying here!

It's doing a decent job of locating me using the iPhone GPS.

The address find is far better. Found driving directions first try. I have not gotten any voice yet though.

My signal is poor even outside and I am getting no voice.

Did you enable it in the settings? You also have to select "English" in the language menu to get any voice prompts.

Yes, I turned it on. I am on English, too. Oddly enough, I had version 1.1 installed....removed it. I just installed 1.2 when this thread showed up, but when I went to the maps, it was at my home on the map....my street rather. How did it retain that data?

That's actually a good question cuz when I started mine up after the update it said all of my downloaded maps and saved data were incompatible with the new version.

I see it supports google maps, nice. One question though, do we have to download the maps manually or can we just put in a address?

Has anyone had a chance to try out the driving directions in the car...I have read on a number of forums some not hearing the voice guidance and the re-routing doesnt happen if you go the wrong way, the directions just disappear.

Anyone have any input?

Once I hop in the car in about an hour I will post my impressions as well.

xgps worth it?

i really need a good gps is this the one i should get????

thanks ahead of time
