Yes and I love it!
That leaves the Z4 as the only choice, Great tablet. Or you could just buy another Note Pro some good discounts but they are getting harder to find, and I think your only choice that has your requirements.

Yeap, as I said, unless you want to carry an iPhone and the iPad Pro which is probably over the top to just write some notes down. I would say the Z4 tablet LTE with a stylus pen that you can buy is the best option.

Actually rereading OP's first post he doesn't say what country he is in so that makes a big difference.

Eddy Cue said the iPad PRO is great for consuming contents. He then said that he does lots of consuming rather than producing...

I am in Japan temporarily. Internet use is expensive. Wifi only works when the trains are stopped. Getting a mobile wifi router requires signing a 2-year contract.

The Z4 isn't released in USA, hope it will be but not looking good especially in LTE.

I tried the Xperia Z4 tablet in a Sony store today. Everything seemed to be good until I tested the camera. The photos were below my standard. I have to eliminate this option.

I also tested the camera of Note 5 and iPhone 6S Plus in several stores. In each test, photos taken by the iPhone 6S Plus looked better than those taken by the Note 5. The latter ones looked fuzzy for unknown reason.

My main uses are: taking photos and short videos, hand written notes, annotate pdf. The iPhone 6S Plus's screen is too small for me as I am used to the Note PRO 12.2. However, it takes very nice photos and seem to have better battery life than the Note 5.

Now, I am considering an iPhone 6S Plus with Device A. Device A could be: Surface Pro 4, iPad Air 2 or iPad PRO. Could you please let me know the following:

1. If I want to use the LTE of iPhone 6S Plus to provide non-stop internet connection for Device A which I use to surf the web often due to large screen, does Device A has to have LTE? As you know, Surface Pro 4 has no LTE while the LTE version of iPad Air 2 and iPad PRO are more expensive than the wifi only version

2. Is it easy to do it if Device A is running non-Mac OS such as Windows 10 on the SP4?

3. Somebody on the forum mentioned that using the iPhone to provide internet connection for another device takes a lot of battery from the iPhone. How much additional battery power lost per hour for doing this? Will the data consumption charged by phone company increase? If so, by about how many percent?

4. It seems that some companies provide LTE doungle for laptop computer. If I plug in those doungle into the SP4, can I make/receive phone calls?

Most smartphones can do this, I did it with my Nexus 5, you just turn on the wireless hotspot feature of the phone, it basically makes a little WiFi hotspot, but YES it will use the battery of your mobile, how fast I don't know as I haven't used it for long enough.

I don't remember you stating you wanted to take photos, no tablet will do that as well as a smartphone. I would advise getting a 6S Plus and then TEST an iPad Pro, I say that as you need to remember it is a 13" device. If you like the iPad Pro device then go for it. Otherwise the Sony tablet will work fine with an iPhone Hot Spot, I can say that as my Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact connects to my iPhone 6S WiFI Hot Spot fine.
I am not sure about the Surface but can't see why it won't work. So no, no tablet needs any LTE etc to work with a mobile phone to connect to the internet.

You can also connect via bluetooth if you want but I believe it's slower then a WiFI Hot Spot connection.

Thanks. I have been using Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 to take photos and videos for over a year. I am satisfied with it as it has a flash also.

I heard that there is no international warranty for the SP. This is a big turn off as I live in different countries.

Get the SP4. I have an SP3 that replaced my MacBook Air/iPad combo for school and media consumption and I love it.

If the ipad air/pro/galaxy tablets are in the running, why wouldn't you consider a surface 3 over a surface pro 4? The surface 3 is going to be lighter, easier to handle, has better battery life and is substantially cheaper. It also has the option of LTE, comes with the stylus, and you can have the same type cover/keyboard solution.

Think he might be partial to the larger form factor--the 3 models mentioned are all 12"+ in display size.
