I understand most of you are SO consumed with trying to get the iPhone 5..

You must have forgotten..

Why dont you put aside your inconsiderate thoughts and actually put some mind into the fact that one year ago we lost a brilliant mind..

R.I.P. Steve Jobs

i agree with this guy. while i do like my apple products. i don't care that he died a year ago today. i didn't know him personally. so..... life goes on. :)

It's still good to look back at how things have and haven't changed. Think back at things he would have done or found funny over the past year, not for criticism on the company, but for comical relief.

Sorry but why is the store being down anything to do with the Anniversary of Steve Job's death?

In all likelihood it probably just a routine scheduled maintainence thing..

I can't really believe the responses in this thread?

The guy started the company you buy all your products from. Show a bit of respect. If not for him for others on this site who genuinely miss him.

Whats wrong with people.

Nothing is wrong with people. Lots of people die every day and the fact that he started a company that produces a product I purchase makes no difference to me. Not being rude just saying how I feel.

My dog, Twinkles, died three years ago. Besides taking the day off work, I'm going to force the other dogs to watch home movies of Sparkles and wear black collars in remembrance. Maybe even a hunger fast. We'll see.

Right? How is it wrong to miss someone that created something that impacted your life? If not your life, then the lives of others and how the everyday world works and communicates. If you don't care he made the products you use then at least look at his words and what he said in his life, because those are very inspirational.

John Hancock died this day years ago.

He did more than Steve Jobs to impact people's lives.

Nobody cares about this date either.

There is a difference between respecting somebody and making them a Saint.

So every single time one of these daft threads about Steve Jobs' death appears I have to respect it because the guy helped invent the iPod I love and rely on so much?

**** that. I payed my respects to the guy when news came of his death. I didn't need to make a pointless thread about it on a forum a year later to show my respect for him. And if that is how we as humans have to pay respects to a dead genius nowadays then I think something somewhere has gone awfully wrong. Count me out, these threads are just a waste of bandwidth.
