Luke was actually most scared of Princess Leia! Dunno why. Here he is fighting Darth Maul:

1. These guys are from the 501st who are Star Wars cosplayers.

2. My daughter's name is not Leia! Though I joked about going Daisy and then Bo next.

3. The R2 was built by a team of guys AFAIK. Lots of teams out there that make R2s. This one was completely motorized, had the sounds, and even the chest panels popped out. The kids loved it.

Most of those first pics were taken at a charity silent auction. I've just been told I had the highest bid on a Princess Leia wig worn by Carrie Fisher.

Now I know what my daughter is going to be dressed up as this coming Halloween!

This made me crack up. Reminds me of my nephews, they have one of those masks you can put on to make Darth Vader sounds and such.
But the 3 year old has a more pronounced Philly accent, so picture a 3 foot tall Darth Vader wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops going
