I'm glad to know this is coming. I moved my other cloud stuff to iDisk last night and deleted those pieces from my MacBook and iPod touch, so now things shuld all be in one place this time next week!

EDIT: I wonder if this will enable us to save attachments from Mail and files from Safari now, also. It seems like the problem earlier might have just been nowhere to put the files, but with an iDisk app we could save directly to that, have it uploaded to iDisk, and we're set.

This doesn't make much sense for Mail, but I can think for small files on the Net this might be ideal.

Is this completely unreasonable to assume?

:D

My feeling is that I'd rather they take their time and have it work, rather than just rush it out.

Now, if it's a steaming pile of poo when they release it, I won't be very happy...

Not at all. In fact more often than not stuff like that is announced well in advance, and can get delayed after the announcement for one reason or another.

Push notifications ring a bell? :)

Well they intend to release them imminently then.

Yeah, because there wasn't an almost year lag from when they announced it to when they released it...

In fact, I believe push was supposed to be in a 2.x release.

I don't know, but I'd sure like to know, as well. This seems like something that should have gone live along with 3.0. If we have to wait a year for it like other advertised features that won't be cool. I do wonder what's taking so long, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

One thing that baffles me: why the eff advertise some effin' app that's not gonna be out for effin' months or years??? I mean, WTF!!!!!:mad::mad::confused::confused::mad:

Pooshka...your pills!

The iDisk app was announced three weeks ago. iPhone 3.0 was released less than two weeks ago. Try to relax.

iDisk was announced 12 months ago at MM kickoff. It was then reannounced a few weeks ago.
