What do you need to turn off? It's not mandatory to use it in the same way you don't have to enter your blood pressure into Health every day. Will I be able to turn it off?

Makes one wonder, what are they going to do with all this data?
Exactly. So much exactly. Please read "Surveillance Capitalism" by Zuboff.
My SO has a sleep disorder (that is being treated with some medications). Rather than rely on her trying to remember what happened the previous night, I set up an Arlo camera pointed at her that was triggered by motion/sound. Then every day I'd go through the 50 or 60 videos and identify behaviors related to the disorder (maybe 5 to 10 over those 50-60). Then we'd review them together, and log the type of behavior and the time it occurred. We did this for over a month and discovered patterns that she had no idea of.This will be very useful to me, to see the patten of when my mood changes and why. I would love to be able to send this information to my doctor
Yes, i think you are correct. Courage characterizes a human, it’s a quality or a trait as you rightfully say. It doesn’t come and go, like moodsIs courage... a mood? Or is it instead a trait?
Then she had her appointment with the sleep specialist - who showed no interest in the data we had logged.
I'm not saying that the sleep specialist doesn't care about their patients, but I'm thinking that they are not interested (or don't understand the potential) of data that originates outside of their direct control. Or even treat it as not being reliable.
Google 'enclave" and then relate that to the iPhone.Looks like I’m in the minority here, but I already feel apple tracks and stores way too much data on people. Not going to volunteer anymore.
Not really, but it was courageous of you to askWhat about courage? That’s considered as a mood right?
It will work with existing Apple Watch's.Apparently there are some questionnaires for anxiety and depression risk and for your state of mind. Also looks like Apple Watch can measure the amount of time in daylight. Wonder if it requires watchOS 10.

erm...not sure about this. I work for the global market leader in well-being and Apple are eating my lunch!I can't wait for Apple to come out with Apple Health Plus which includes virtual therapist sessions.
OH snap!
I can only imagine the pain you're going though.
I just finished watching season 3 of Shameless and reading your first too paragraphs unfortunately came across the main character's constant schemes to get more alcohol or medicated with street drugs. If you'e seen the show you'd understand - so if you haven't I sincerely HOPE you do NOT take offence to this.
Prior to iOS 17 have you not been able to record voice notes to send with data to your doctor(s)? No 3rd party apps that facilitate what you've been needing?
Two words: “pill mills”Makes one wonder, what are they going to do with all this data?
I know there is the ambient light sensor but I wonder if this hints at a UV sensor in this year’s watches. There is a section in health for UV exposure.Apple Watch can measure the amount of time in daylight. Wonder if it requires watchOS 10.
