I have a non cellular Apple Watch series 4.Out of curiosity, do you have an Watch with or without a data plan? Trying to determine if this works for Wi-Fi only Watches?

Did that chew up a lot of phone battery?it‘s a cool idea but can also be annoying.
Was in work and with being on the railway and work on the tracks, Kept getting warning all day that I left my wallet, car keys and phone behind but they were locked in my locker in the office.
Didn’t notice anything drasticDid that chew up a lot of phone battery?
You can set it up to exclude locations like your home and work address.it‘s a cool idea but can also be annoying.

Fantastic! Thanks for the info 😊I have a non cellular Apple Watch series 4.
Yes.Does the watch need to be on WatchOS 8 for this to work?
Thanks for the reply. I will wait. I am not keen on putting my series 6 on beta. I know I can send off to Apple to get downgraded but, having to wait 5 - 7 days seems like forever. Lol.Yes.
That's funny, because Apple said iPhone will notify you when you leave AirTags and other devices behind like AirPods, but not the other way around. Now we know!Unintentionally found a new iOS feature today. Went out to eat, and after eating paid and left. Was pulling out of the parking lot when my Apple Watch alerted me that I left my phone behind.
I turned the car back around and retrieved it.
Very cool feature!
Same, once I left my iPhone on the self checkout counter at WalMart. Had to come back in and ping my iPhone from my watch to prove it was mine.I could’ve used this feature a couple of days ago.
Are you on OS 15 and WatchOS 8 developer beta? If so, can you (PLEASE!) confirm if precision tracking is enabled to find AirTags in the new Find Items app? (Assuming you have the series 6 Apple Watch with U1 chip) THANK YOU!Unintentionally found a new iOS feature today. Went out to eat, and after eating paid and left. They'll probably go the way of Watson (replaced by sherlock, renamed spotlight) , 3rd party styluses for iPad, 3rd party screen time apps, and 3rd party night shift.I wonder what is going to happen with the app PhoneBuddy.
Looking to start using betas, and have a quick question. How do I revert back to publiclt released iOS if betas are too buggy? Thanks for the reply. I will wait. 1) remove the profile from the phoneLooking to start using betas, and have a quick question. How do I revert back to publiclt released iOS if betas are too buggy?
Thanls!1) remove the profile from the phone
2) DFU or Recovery mode which will install the last iOS 14 release
3) if you have a iOS 14 phone backup made before installing the beta, you can restore from backup
PhoneBuddy will be fine. It offers way more customization/functionality and choices that Apple would never allow. Apple's version will be basic and settings will not allowed to be changed from default. Also with Phone Buddy any bugs are tackled and treated with importance. The support team will work with you and keep you informed until the issue is solved. Apple feedback is the exact opposite, I've submitted bug reports over and over though out the iOS14 cycle and have never received or had any acknowledgment from Apple that they know about it or will fix it. Tons of bugs are reported and very few are addressed.. This is well documented in the numerous iOS14 bug fixes/changes and improvements threads...That's funny, because Apple said iPhone will notify you when you leave AirTags and other devices behind like AirPods, but not the other way around. Now we know!
Apple will put yet another app out of business by releasing the same functionality within iOS. PhoneBuddy i'm talking about you.
You can set the device it said you forgot to not remind you if you left it at certain places like home or work.I just wen to buy some groceries and my iPhone told me that I had left my keys behind. They are my work keys, with an Airtag.
I gave the iPhone a treat and explained that I had left them at home. But it is a really cool feature.
