When I upgrade it would definitely be Launcher again. But for now I will stick with iOS9 untill Apple change it back again that you can use URL schemes for e.g. Settings like WIFI, Bluetooth, Battery usage per app/Low power mode area (Battery).
FYI - LAUNCHER APP HAS BROKEN LINKS NOW. "BATTERY" "BLUETOOTH" "WIFI" AND "SETTING" LINKS NO LONGER WORK. THIS MESSAGE DISPLAYS WHEN TRYING OPEN THEM WITH THE LAUNCHER HOMESCREEN APP:
"WE'RE SORRY, BUT APPLE HAS REMOVED THE ABILITY TO LAUNCH THIS APP(APP NAME) IN IOS10. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT THEM AND KINDLY ASK THEM TO REVERT THIS CHANGE.
THIS SUCKS, NO MORE DIRECT LINKS NOW I HAVE TO SHUFFLE THROUGH SETTINGS TO GET TO WHAT I WANT TO SEE...SIGH...
And you found it that important to write in all CAPS?FYI - LAUNCHER APP HAS BROKEN LINKS NOW. "BATTERY" "BLUETOOTH" "WIFI" AND "SETTING" LINKS NO LONGER WORK. THIS MESSAGE DISPLAYS WHEN TRYING OPEN THEM WITH THE LAUNCHER HOMESCREEN APP:

You can invoke them with 3D Touch now though. Not the same I know.

I haven't set up Launcher back up again yet. Right now I have the music one, Workflow, Chronicle, Dark Sky, and Drafts.
ThermoWatch to control my Nest thermostat. Can actually control Nest straight from the widget.
Thermo Watch for Nest Thermostat by Marko RadakovicI can't find the app you are referring too
Not to get too off topic, but I sure wish Apple would make it easier to find apps in the store that have widgets, and require that a picture of the widget be shown.
To be fair they were only one or two swipes away on the lock screen or petty much any other screen for a few iOS versions now.Agree completely.
When Widgets were buried in the OS I never paid them any attention, didn't use them at all. But now that they are a swipe away on the lock screen they are very accessible and very useful, I need a single place in the app store to go to find the whole lot of them.

It seems more like more people are probably stumbling onto it because they are used to swiping right on the lock screen and now they get this when they do it. It's more of a side-effect from that than anything else really.Understood, but they were just too hidden and I simply paid no attention, the extra swipe or two just wasn't any easier or faster than unlocking the phone with TouchID and tapping a page one app.
The little things make all the difference. You ask me, the faster access to widgets is the best new feature of iOS 10.
BJ
I kind of like the older widgets, at least the darker background those use. (It would be nice if that was some option to have all widgets--new or old--and even notifications to be able to use that kind of darker background.)Unfortunate that we are not seeing more updates for iOS 10 widget look and feel. If a widget doesn't get updated, I will likely dump it. The visual discrepancy will bother me
