• Final release of iPhone SDK.
• Introduction of iPhone App Store
• Introduction of 3G-capable iPhone - 16 & 32GB.
• Introduction of entry-level iPhone - not 3G compatible. Smaller than exisitng iPhone. 8GB.
• Retooling of .Mac to be compatible with iPhone and iPhone software.
• Demo of OS 10.6

No "One More Thing." No new computers. No new displays. Maybe some unannounced speedbumps to existing lines such as the Mac Mini.

It's a developer conference, so it will be more software-oriented then consumer-oriented.

And to think...I was overly optimistic.

- Announcing new iPhone, release in a couple of weeks
- demo of v2 software, release with new iPhones
- app store demo with finished 3rd party apps, release as above
- .Mac rebranding
- mmmmmaayyyybbeee 10.6

Also, an end to all the nonsense speculation.

My prediction is that regardless of what Mr. Jobs announces or what new products may come out, for the next week 98% of posts on MacRumors will be sprinkled with words like "deal-breaker", "what were they thinking?", "it will never sell", "what they should have done is...", etc. etc. etc.

That's just a guess though. :D

I predict a surge of whining that lasts until Macworld.

Although the thread never took off, here are the potential winners. I'm leaning towards iMpathetic. However, we will have to wait until Macworld to see.

The keynote was rather uneventful in my opinion--however, I am just a consumer (and a damn good one at that). All eyes on Macworld.

Dude, I totally won. What's my prize?

Your end to the endless speculation prediction lost you some points. Hahaha. Because I still see that going on here.

Although If more people say you won then I'll pick you as the winner. I just thought iMpathetic had a better prediction but this is a democracy so others can feel free to choose the winner.

Its cheaper for me to pick iMpathetic. So I may be biased. However, I am a man of my word...so what do others here think?

but when you say 'prediction' it should be a prediction of the actual products released, not a smart assed comment.

It's like asking who will win the NBA finals and picking the winner as someone who says "lol, the TV networks".

Plus, the endless speculation has ended. I don't see any more "3G iPhone has GPS/hasn't GPS/is bigger/ is smaller/ is 32GB/ is 8GB etc etc".

I was obviously joking when I picked iMpathetic as the winner (although his prediction does span 6-7 months and is arguable very accurate)
Compliments; I must say that you were right on with your prediction. It was great how you didn't have anything predicted that wasn't announced. Even the "on the fence" prediction of Snow Leopard was accurate in a sense.

I was thinking of the award being a donation to Mac Rumors in your name. If you are OK with that, I would like to do it. I just have to get in touch with the admins to see if that is possible.

If not I will send you a dime via USPS.
