I wonder if restoring from a backup would work.

I wonder if Apple corporation is even planning on doing anything about this.

Their reputation is on the line with me on this one. My iPhone3G is the first Apple product I have owned. It's been excellent. BUT, if *they* don't fix this or at least if *they* don't issue a statement telling us how to fix it, it will certainly leave a negative tarnish on Apple in my eyes. I will begin to view Apple as a company that sells you a product but then says "you're on your own now." Again, I do not view Apple like this right now, but with every passing day that Youtube does not work, my view of Apple is changing. Even if it is not Apple's problem but rather a Youtube issue, Apple still needs to release a statement.

Just a simple "We are aware of the problem and we are working to fix it" is all I ask for.
They can't even do that ????????????????

It's still probably an issue with YouTube.
Apple may have already contracted them.

I've heard the youtube bug has been corrected.

Some of my videos are now playing.

What is everyone else saying this morning?

I'll see when I get in a Wi-Fi area, right now I'm on one of the computers at school.

Popping in to say that I too am having this problem.

I called Apple two days ago, and they are aware of the issue. I chose not to do a full system restore though, and wait for a fix. I can play YouTube videos out of Safari just fine, so I'm not pissed about this, just annoyed.

I restored my iphone last night from a "new iphone". NOT from a backup.

This morning every single video I have tried is working great!

Even the ones that were not working yesterday are now working for me today.

Thanks for letting us know that Apple said they are aware of the problem.
Yeah, I have been using Safari to access Youtube for the past few days. It works and it's not too bad, but as we all know when an App is specially designed for anything, it just works so much better.

The Youtube App is still giving me the problem right now. So...I'm still accessing Youtube via Safari.

It's still not working. I can just imagine the poor Apple Store employees that are trying to sell new iPhones and the people keep saying "why doesn't it work? Why is there an icon for Youtube if it doesn't work?" Not to mention the hundreds of consumers that already have iPhones that are coming in asking what is going on.

.... still doesn't work. =(
