It's a parody video on YouTube

Apple doesn't own Youtube and it's also not a video breaking any rules that I'm aware of
Any company can issue a pulldown for virtually any reason if it includes any trademarked material, especially if they own some of the video and images used in this video. Youtube algorithm favors the complaintent first until there is a further investigation.

1. You must be fun at the parties (not)

2. Obviously a parody of what an Apple event would have looked like, if they had one

3. If you haven‘t noticed, Apple doesn’t own Internet or YouTube, and they can’t just “take down“ content, which makes fun of them. Preserving Apple’s brand isn’t the top priority of anyone, other than Apple.
1. I love my boring lawyer parties

2. Parody includes deliberate exaggeration for comic effect or to prove a point. What is the point of this video? to make fun of the way Tim Cook gestures and delivers content?

3. Have you ever posted on Youtube? Any content that is not original can be flagged by the owner. Apple is notorious for pulling down anything that can hurt their brand. Most of these pulldowns are not fought by the content poster.

4. I never said I want this pulled down. I'm just surprised that it is still up since it's using Apple content to spread rumors that Apple would never condone. Not to mention, it could damage Apple's business for surprise releases due next week.

1. You and no one else lol

2. You didn’t get the comedic effect of fpt video - that’s you problem.

3. fpt video consist of original content plus some stock footage of Apple Park. There are no grounds to take it down.

4. Apple isn‘t that stupid to even attempt to pull something like that down. This would cause them more bad press and greater brand damage than rehashed rumors already posted all over Internet. I am just happy they don’t hire lawyers like you lol.

He could have gone farther with jokes about all greedy stuff Apple does. And deeper squats.

The fact a comedy sketch can recognizably emulate a real event shows exactly how mature tech products have become.

There's little new. Anywhere. In any tech.

You could so a Samsung TV or Galaxy phone event the same way.
Every year, its just tweaks now.
Most hardware just upgrades without hype.

We had 3D and curved screens. That didnt really work.
We're having an AI moment. And most of that hasnt resulted in much so far.
And not just from Apple. who are rolling their vision out. I'm talking products in the past year "with AI"...

If whatever you are using is old and slow, buy a new replacement.
Otherwise is there a point in spending money on any of it?
Cost of Living everywhere has probably impacted people with purchase decisions too.
Discretionary spending is down pretty much everywhere.

Nice video. He’s made different kinds of productions in the last 1-2 years that are definitely high quality and interesting.
One of the few tech YouTubers that’s gone up in quality instead of down/stagnating, in my view.

Really enjoyed this and laughed a few times as well. Too bad it seems Apple uses the same words every year just substituting the number for the current year as in M4 vs M3.

Back in the day, the presentations were well done and had enthusiasm.

I think that Apple has realized their recent "events' were not stellar performances that enhanced the products under discussion. Thus no dog and pony show this year for the "MAC" product line will see top laptop models probably pushing $9,000 fully equipped with Apple Care and sales taxes.

There is a reality where Apple prices themselves out of business as most folks can not drop these staggering sums of cash on devices that are outdated in 12 months.

Personal experience was my M1 Ultra Mac Studio (128GB memory and 8TB SSD) priced out at close to $8,000 but was worth less than $1,500 for a trade in on the equivalent M2 Ultra Mac Studio less than 12 months later.

When do we see a YouTube video of Ku and Gorman making their insider information event presentations?

That was a good one.

I swear though if Apple removes the Ethernet adapter from the Mac Mini I…I guess I will have lost all faith in what Apple thinks they’re doing to the desktop. I don’t know why they seem to hate Ethernet so much.
Only way I’d be okay with this is if it’s in the power cord somehow.

I fully agree.
And in post Covid in 2022-2024 I think a lot of people spent more money on trips, dinners, social experiences than on tech. Most likely that’ll balance out at some point though, but currently We’re at a plateau in tech compared to the mobile revolution of the 2000s-2010s

yeah agree.
i love new toys but there's been a lull lately in "must haves".

AI is all promise. and hype largely. so far.
it's clear it will impact every area one day (soon) but is it a consumer thing or company driven push?
Transparent backend processing will benefit users. The deep fake stuff is just scary in a world on conspiracy consumers.

AVP is a push in a new direction and while it has potential, it's not a mass market item (which many think it should be).

Projectors seem to be having a renewed excitement... 4K, brighter, smarter, portable.
We are all so used to big screens at home now and prices have come down a lot.

Soundbars? yeah theyve plateaued too. many are competent enough and easy to set up and priced well.
But there's little excitement after you have a Dolby Atmos rig to upgrade again. Such small tweaks year to year.
TV are the same. Sound is better. Picture improvements are tiny now.

Cars? Maybe. The rise of Chinese EVs at cheap prices is changing the auto industry everywhere. Not good for flatfooted overpriced old auto makers.

Everything has come a long way quickly. So where to for some excitement?

One might also say, not particularly beneficial for clumsy, overpriced old mobile phone and computer manufacturers. 😏
