Verizon Z30 for $99 at Amazon, I thought I had seen something like that.

Nexus 5 was selling a month ago for $350. I personally would not have picked the Z10 over the Nexus 5, if given the choice.

No way I'm getting a phone without memory card slot or removable battery.

And $300 was in Europe, including tax.

I paid $300 about a month ago and it is well worth it. Better deal than any Android phones at the time.

I can pick up a new GS3 for $299.99 right now or even less on CL. A better device than the Z10 any day of the week.

We can start by the fact that the Z10 has 2GiB RAM while the S3 only 1GiB.

And the S3 costs $350 here now, not 1 month ago.

The US S3 had 2gb of RAM, and since he referred to Craigslist, I am assuming he is in the US.

I didn't realize you paid $300 equivalent (with tax) in Europe for the Z10. Thought you were in the US. That is a pretty good deal.

Yes, then it has 2GiB RAM but the CPU is downgraded to dual core.

Next, the Z10 has more resolution.

$200 unlocked is a good deal if you can live with the fact that this phone was released in January 2013 and the OS is pretty much dead for future support. This is a fire sale.

Honestly, this phone interested me because it has a removable battery and the microSD slot can take up to 64 GB. The prob is I prefer Android and the emulated Android apps that you can install on the Z10 come from 2.3.

A good deal if you are BB fanatic and would like the last major flagship and final swan song from the Canadian company. A collector's item phone. But one getting with very little foresight.

- It has an Android RUNTIME, not an emulator

- It is at 4.2.2 now, not 2.3

- It is not dead. Android support has been getting very strong in the last couple months.

- They have cash

Sounds like you would be better at home over on crackberry. Why are you here again?

Maybe I missed this in other threads, but why doesn't BB do what pretty much every other company does - adopt android and make some sort of BB skin complete with added security features and BBM? Yeah, it would suck to abandon BB10, but beggars can't be choosers.

I'm interested in QNX and the multiple SDK support, not in another Android vendor.

Because most who do that aren't making much money anyway?

Valid point, but let's not pretend that BB10 is some cash cow.

I have the same gripe about Nokia, but that's a lost cause now...

With BBM being cross platform, there is zero reason to buy a BB over an iPhone or Android

Well, yes, but it has the potential to make them more money than Android.

Which you can still side load onto Android. Either way you're just splitting hairs to justify your weak position.

What can you side load? An old, vulnerable Flash Player?

BB10 has full, supported Adobe AIR, and AIR apps are eligible for Built for Blackberry certification.

Another reason is that Android apps are sandboxed in BB10.

Flash is as good as dead r

And if you're lucky, or maybe have a Nexus device, you might someday get an update. Oh, and better not get a KitKat device if you want flash.

The $200 deal appears as Out of Stock now.

Amazon has white Verizon Q10 for $0.
