QNX was very interesting and the last BB product I ever wanted was the PlayBook. But the OS is going to be as dead as webOS.

It was recently announced that Sailfish can be installed onto Android devices. I love open source. A nice option if you want a much cleaner and simple look than Android. Dual booting multiple OSes is a future option I dont mind having like what was seen with the HTC HD2 from 2009.

Call me crazy but I love the q10 form factor and all the amazing shortcuts you can use with the keyboard throughout the OS.

What a Christmas! Moto G and Z10 for $200!

Both have their advantages. For software, I prefer to an actual Android phone as the Moto G is promised to get KitKat by next year.

But that Z10 is also super tempting. Slightly better specs, expandable memory slot up to 64 GB which are price dropping btw, and a removable battery.

If I had $200 and had to choose, I would pick the Z10 over Moto G but only for the memory slot, removable batt, and slightly better cam. Z10 would make a better secondary phone while Moto G can make a good primary or secondary phone because BB10's future looks bleak compared to Android. But you really can't go wrong picking either.

Except I would choose neither as my eyes are still set on a Lenovo P780 with that 4000 mAh battery that phablets like the Huawei Ascend Mate and Asus Fonepad can carry. And OTG capable. I want a true workhorse phone that can last days from a single charge.

Just saw the $0 Z10 at my local AT&T Store.

I'm not sure why ANYONE would be dumb enough to buy that when there are fantastic deals for cheap GS4s and HTC Ones now

I would suggest you try BB10 for a week before calling it dumb.

I had a PlayBook for a while.

I'm fairly certain that mediocre device started their downfall and the outdated Z10 cemented BB's future.

PlayBook was released unfinished.

The Z10 with 10.2 is competitive at the current $300 price.

Battery life will not be satisfactory if you're a heavy user. The Z30 fixed that, but I prefer a removable battery.

I would rather buy a Moto G over this. Although this thing may have better hardware than the Moto G, at least that phone comes with an OS that is well supported and guaranteed to receive 4.4 very soon. The Z10, on the other hand, comes from a company who is most likely doomed, like HP's WebOS.
