Can you create the Instructions to follow your process. I Understand the Install and Uninstall part. You are saying the current version of Customize does not really uninstall...but creates the necessary folders and remains. Locate in another folder the Customize also resides. Please list process from here.

Thanks buddy.

The actual Customize 1.21 installs and adds the folders to hold the images for every topic, but when you uninstall, the Customize.app folder will uninstall, but the folders in private/var/root/Library(I think) wont uninstall, but although TouchRepo's Customize dosent make those folders, it works with those folders in /private/etc, so install the real version, uninstall, install the modded version and you should be good to go...

I'm sorry... I'm an idiot.

I installed the 1.21 version of Customize.

Now I need to uninstall it?
Then install... (what is the modded version?)

^Thanks, got it working. I'm guessing that I'm one of many who aren't seeing the changes in Customizer... Also, only 4 of the 10 summerboard themes I dl worked...

Yes, because they are going to /var/root/Library/Summerboard/Themes, but the newest version of Summerboard which works with 1.1.3 only reads the themes from /var/mobile/Library/Summerboard/Themes. You will need to manually install the themes, or try that fix in Installer. I remember seeing it on my phone before I deleted a ton of sources. If someone could post where that is, that would be great...

How do I manually install them?

Yes, uninstall it, then add www.touchrepo.com/repo.xml and www.touchrepo.com/betarepo.xml to your sources(Im not sure which one has the modded Customize). Then install the modded Customize and everything should be working except the backup for your carrier image will be iPod, so just find the AT&T one, and then youre good to go...

Download a theme from somewhere, then through your file browsing system, go to /var/mobile/Library/Summerboard/Themes. Then add a folder named the theme name. Then install, put the Wallpaper, Dock, or Status Bar. Make sure they are capitalized just like the other themes installed. Make sure the permissions for those are set to 0755. Then inside the app name folder, make a folder named Icons. Make sure the I is capitalized. Then put all of the icons inside with the exact capitalization as you see on your phone normal. Make those 0755, and you should be good to go...

Is it normal to say "This package comes from an untrusted source, it may be unsafe to install"?

Do I need to be in recovery mode when I run ZiPhone?

With the Windows version, I was in terminal mode. Everything works great for me. I had a 1.1.2 OTB which was upgraded to 1.1.3 through iTunes when I used ziphone.

Having the same issue after jailbreaking with Ziphone two days ago and having the same issue. 8GB 1.1.3 (1.1.1OTB itunes upgraded) iphone. Tried installing customie with the normal/uninstalling/installing modded version method and things are very unstable. 1 time in 5 it will actually stay open and none of my changes actually take affect. i am also having the same issues with summerboard which I saw the fix for but youtube does work. This on leopard with tuesdays late release of Ziphone.
