I received my iPhone 11 Pro today and am attempting to purchase Applecare+ for it. I can only find the option to purchase the AppleCare monthly @ $10 a month. Is there a way to purchase the two year plan for $199 after you've purchased the phone?
Updated: as of October 2023
Guys, my original post is no longer inaccurate.
The monthly AppleCare+ can be transferred by cancelling the subscription from one Apple ID and immediately subscribing again from the new Apple ID.

Hello!
For those like me that enjoy upgrading to new devices every...
After almost two years, I finally damaged by iPhone X. Ironically after dropping it many times, this time it literally fell from a couple inches while I was underneath my car. The back glass doesn't look too bad... from a purely cosmetic standpoint it's probably not worth replacing. However...
Just checked at B&H, Amazon, and LA Computer, where I used to see Applecare available separately (without the purchase of a Mac), but no longer see it at those places. I did a search, but couldn't find info...is this a known thing that's been in place for a while...

Anyone know with any certainty if I can get applecare on this?
Currently I have a 2011 iMac that I'm looking to upgrade. I'll be purchasing a 2019 spec'd out iMac and I'm wondering if I should add AppleCare+ to it or not. My 2011 machine needed a motherboard replacement just outside my 3 year AppleCare warranty, so I ended up paying out of pocket for it...
I bought a NEW iMac 27" 2017 on a deal from B&H last week. I also bought AppleCare+ through B&H. Shipping notification said I would receive my AppleCare+ directly from Apple. I didn't get a serial number from B&H for my AppleCare+ I decided to check my coverage at checkcoverage.apple.com. I put...
hi all,
as this is my first post, hope this is the right section
I just got my first iMac 2019. I upgraded to 40GB of ram from 8GB which was like using a netbook with Atom CPU few years ago - abysmal performance and horrible experience. Glad that's over!
After this success I wanted to upgrade...
Applecare is $250 for three years of coverage for the Macbook Air. If the screen breaks or the chassis takes damage, there's a $99 replacement fee, $199 per incident for any other problems/damage.
Is this worth the price? I priced out Macbook Air screens (old style) for about $240 a pop on...
A very interesting post about the quality of Apple's repairs (via a 3rd party). I've been hearing more and more about this from various sources. I used to feel great about refurbished Macs and AppleCare, that's starting to fade...
Hi! I have an iPhone 7+ (had it since it launched) and I've been very happy with it. After the last 2-3 iOS updates however the battery is draining quicker than ever. My battery health maximum capacity right now is 88%. My questions are:
Would getting a new battery help improve battery life on...
I live in Europe and i went to an Apple reseller (eu country, eu laws, major french retail chain, apple reseller, with dedicated staff to apple products and those classic apple desks and white walls) and bought in store the entry level macbook air 2018 (costs around 1450 USD here) last week and...
Hey guys!
Wanted an opinion on what happened to me this weekend.
Went in to the Apple store downtown Montreal Canada to replace the battery. Wanted to do this before the discount ends in January.
Prefacing this with the fact that the phone is just over a year old, has never been dropped or...
i have only ever bought AppleCare a few times for different macs, I have never bought it for iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch/tv, I like the idea of it but it’s a large expense to add to the top price of apple gear. I am curious to see what the feeling is on the forum, do you buy it? Is it worth it...
If you pre-ordered your iPhone XS, XS Max, or Apple Watch Series 4 on the first day of pre-orders, today is the last day you can add AppleCare+ to your purchase.
Here's a right pain in the ass...

Finally buys a new MacBook Pro a couple months back.
Loves it.

So I get that AppleCare+ on the S4 is $79 in full for 24 months or $3.99/month for up to 24 months (adds up to $96 over 24 months). Paid-in-full is the better deal, right? You can cancel the paid-in-full at anytime for a prorated refund. Am I missing something?
I've sold my iPhone from the iPhone upgrade program, I've cancelled AppleCare, can the new owner purchase AppleCare again for the device before the 12 months is up?
Edit - plan was to cancel AppleCare when they receive the device.
I went to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ and entered my phone's information to check my AppleCare+ status. It says that I'm covered until November 3, 2019.
Is there anywhere that shows incidents of accidental damage I have remaining? I want to be able to show this to a potential buyer of my...
