Hi,
I have a Mac Pro 4.1 early 2009 with a Graphic Card Nvidia GTX 660 2GB not flashed, so I don´t see the boot screen and I don´t have the original card.
My question is, I have the 4.1 software and I want to update to 5.1 software, can I do without the original card?

Hey guys,
I made a video about delidding a Xeon X5690 using only a vice! The results where perfect! After cleaning up and successfully testing the first one I went on to the second. Both turned out great and my Mac Pro 4,1 is quite and blazingly fast.
The reason why I chose this method is...
So, sadly, after 7 faithful years as my primary workhorse, the best, most reliable Mac I have ever owned, my Mac Pro 4,1 has died. Looks to be a CPU failure, or maybe the motherboard gave out. I was hoping it would last long enough that I could get a second gen nMP and then figure out solutions...

Hello,
I'm upgrading my Mac Pro from 4.1 (to 5.1) with new hardware. The machine came with a Radeon HD 4870 when I purchased it and would like to know what would be a good GPU upgrade (if any) without braking the bank.
Thanks for your recommendations.
Hello, I have a early 2009 Mac Pro 4,1. Out of no where while using it just shut it off completely and when I went to go reboot it, everything sounded fine except that I didn't hear the start up chime and my display remained inactive.
The light above the power button stays solid and when I...
