MP 1,1-5,1 Sapphire Radeon RX 580 on Mac Pro 5.1

Upgrading Radeon Drivers by migrating from newer systems?
I have a Mac Pro 5,1 with an EFI flashed Radeon RX-580. I normally use Catalina, but also have Mojave, High Sierra, and now back to Lion for looking at some old stuff. Lion 10.7.5 Radeon drivers die with the RX-580 and go into compatibility mode. Has anybody tried newer drivers?- haralds
