Hey everyone.
Just wondering if its possible to create a siri shortcut to replace me having to ask:
"Hey siri, play PBS 106.7FM Melbourne" - which is an iheartradio station.
Happy to change to something short, "play stupid radio" or anything like that. The problem is, that every time I create...
Hello, I switched to iphone back in 2020 with the 12pro. Before this I had been a long time android user going back to 2012 (before that I had a 3gs so I guess i'm back). I love my iphone and I am fully in the apple ecosystem now. There is just one thing I miss though and that's google's voice...
This morning on the way into work I asked Siri (via CarPlay) to play “Stuck in the Middle With You.” Instead she played “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley.
So Siri rickrolled me…
while im using my airpods, siri makes an announcement of a message which is quite normal. Though since updating to iOS15 siri reminds me that i can reply and other suggestions that siri can do... Siri mentions "btw i can also reply to the message, you can do that by by just saying reply" at...
We have had HomePod mini for a few months but have only encountered this issue yesterday. Possibly caused by 1
5.3 update. The device recognises my and my wife’s voice separately and is pretty good at playing our own individual playlists. However when my wife asked Siri to play her station it...
I keep coming around to the idea that HomeKit might not be the one for me anymore and was wondering if anyone else felt the same?
I am unable to find decent products (doorbells, I’m looking at you) the products I do find all seem to require their own app or cloud service and when Siri does...
Listening Apple Music on iPad while cooking
Say “Hey Siri, play the previous song”
iPhone lights up and Siri starts playing random song, iPad stops playing
???
Say “Hey Siri, stop playing Music”
iPad lights up and Siri responds “There’s nothing playing”, random song on iPhone continues to play...
I know iPhone comes with easy access default to Siri by blurbing "hey siri." Does turning it off give you any security benefit? I mean, it won't stop Apple from listening and collecting data from my device by turning it off. Any benefit to leaving voice activation off?
Using Siri to tag something in the Notes app doesn’t show up as an active tag #️⃣
It just shows up as text with a hashtag at the front of it.
However, when you use the keypad it works perfectly – turns yellow, is active and will get sorted and organised - as it ought.
Dictating, “new line” or...
Good news for the people with Dutch as their native language! The HomePod version of Siri now (15.2b) speaks Dutch. The Belgian (Flemish) version is available as an option, but the voice remains the same.
Guess the HomePod will soon be for sale in The Netherlands!
I have been having some significant problems with Siri over the past 18 hours. It is occurring on both my Apple Watch (Serial 7 - 8.1.1) and iPhone 13 Pro Max (15.1.1). Whenever I ask Siri to set a reminder or even ask her the time, she says she is "One Moment....", "Working on that," and...
Since updating to iOS 15, my personal automations that have 'speak text' portions have a spoken output that is best described as choppy, almost sounding as if under water. The speech output halts momentarily between each word and sometimes you cannot understand what it is saying. This occurs...
I couldn't enable "Hey Siri" on my iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Pro 9.7.
The normal progress is to give you 5 sentences to repeat after Siri. Each time, Siri will read one. Then showing Siri icon. And you repeat.
However, in my situation, the Siri icon sometimes was never shown and Siri was not...
It seems like Siri have undergone a severe kognitive decline in iOS15. She is able to turn up the volume, but thats it. To skip to the next track in Music is beyond her abilities. Are there any way to restore her kognitive abilities (back to iOS14) so I can use her to something usefull?
Hey, is anyone else here having an issue with Siri randomly getting activated when they press the power button at random times? There doesn't seem to be any consistency to it, it's just a minor annoyance. Only thing I can think of that could be causing it is the case, but I don't really wanna go...
I know longer see the option to change the volume of Siri's dictation volume in maps. Is this yet another bug in iOS 15 or has it moved to somewhere that I cannot find? It's set way too loud by default and hope someone can help let me know where to change the setting and lower it! Thanks!
For a long time I have been able to control my airpods without taking my iPhone out of my pocket by using siri. I could change between transparency mode and turn noise cancellation on or off. Now when I ask Siri to do this I just get a message saying that it cannot be done.
Wondering why this...
Back when iOS 14.5 came out, I attempted to make Overcast my preferred podcast player for Siri. But somehow I ended up making it the preferred music player, so when I say “Hey Siri, play some Beatles,” it says “Sorry, you’ll need to continue in Overcast.” I know there aren’t any visible settings...
