I recently bought a cleaning set for my MBP so I have no problems. They dont cost much.

If you need one so bad go into a lens crafters and tell then you need a cloth for the glasses you got from them.

Sort of ruins the clean Apple tech image to have a rag with you wherever you take your iPad. It may bring back monogrammed hankerchiefs, but make sure you don't accidently blow your nose in the one you clean your iPad with.

For me…

The real reason the iPad is awful is that it has replaced my notebook and desktop computers as the primary use computer in my household, making me feel a bit guilty about all that money I spent on the aforementioned products :p

I haven't used my notebook at home more than a few times since the iPad arrived that fateful Saturday morning.

It seems apple is trying to make us buy more accessories for our iPad.

No earphones

And now no cleaning cloth.

What's next?

No power cord and charger? (maybe by then we'll have wireless charging).

+1 for the belly rub, best way to clean it...

Also, in before that chick Cubs fan comes in and tells OP why he is stupid.

oh now come on, I don't outwardly tell someone they're stupid. I like to spend my time helping them unravel. ;) Besides, if I were to tell the OP he was stupid I'd get into trouble.

Why did you buy those computers in the first place then? You obviously never actually needed them. Was it simply because you required a couple of really expensive PDAs?

I beg to differ. Those smudges and fingerprints are horribly noticeable when using the iPad... especially when scrolling through web pages, etc... I can see them sitting there on the surface while the background graphics scroll through. Not the end of the world, but a little bit annoying. At least the screen is easy to clean.

I say you probably need to stop eating fried chicken when using the iPad, then.

I have three complaints:

1) I appreciate having two speakers but having both of them on one side in landscape mode is lame. One on each side would have been soooooo much better. I don't like hearing noise on one side only. It makes headphones a necessity, which oh yeah, they didn't give us.

2) In Safari the bookmarks icon should be on the right side. It's not natural reaching up for it with my left hand. In the lower right corner would have been better. I guess I'll get used to this one.

3) The reloading of pages in Safari when toggling between windows. They'll fix this I believe.

Otherwise it's damned near perfect!

I think that is most humorous is that don't we all have at least one cleaning cloth already? I know I have at least 3 that I didn't buy, a few Oakley ones for sunglasses, the last thing I need is some damn cloth.

There's no cleaning cloth at this time but one will be set-up in iPhone OS 4.0.

Forget multi-tasking and all that twoddle. Cloths be grand!!!

It'll be made from the buttersoft hide of a weeping juvenile badger and be available in a miriad of splendid hues to suit your taste.

Rest assured, this summer Apple will have you touching cloth.
