[doublepost=1498003457][/doublepost]So after thinking about the color for 2 days I decided Silver is the best color for iPad.the white + silver combo has a very Apple trademark look to it,clean and simple,yet sophisticated.
also matches the pencil best.

IMO The Space Grey is the ugliest color for iPad,the black bezels actually don't look seamless next to the screen and there is clear contrast between screen and bezels.
Black just doesn't look nice on iPads imo.

sadly the retailer where I must buy my iPad from,don't have Silver 256GB anymore.

Never liked the Gold on Apple products and I think while Rose Gold is pretty I might get bored with it soon and regret it after a while.

so pretty tough decision!

Gold male is less popular than Rose Gold male? Unless they're buying it for their wives/partners...
I just bought a Gold because my original intent of Space Grey was not available.
 
In my opinion space gray is the best, if you use the ipad a lot for watching movies. Its the same when buying a new TV, it must have black bezels.

But it looks un-attractive,generic and "un-Apple" as opposed to white.

I actually ended up with the gold, since the shop screwed up my space grey order... and I must admit it looks super sleek and futuristic.. I'm so glad I skipped the black one! I don't think the gold is too girly in this size.

Oh, and I think it's a lot more apple'ish.

Other tablet brands in white, look cheap compared to this one.
 
I usually prefer white bezels and went to the Apple Store planning to buy the silver. When I saw the Space Gray I changed my mind. To me the new screen looked so much more impressive with the black bezel that I went home with that model. No regrets.

The thing I like about the white iPads, is it looks better when browsing, writing docs, and in all, matches better with the white iOS + no fingerprints
 
I'd love black bezels with red rear...otherwise space grey looks best. Already went with silver for the ipad 3 and gold for my iphone 5, 6, and mini 4. Very done with gold lol.

Of course space grey is therefore sold out everywhere locally. Grrrrr
 
Space grey here, as it was the only one in stock. If they had a silver, I would have gone for that one as thats my color choice for all Apple products. Im cool with the space grey though. So far so good.

I do LOVE the look of space grey in the iMac Pro and MacBooks though.

I was just commenting on the new Space gray color on the new iMac Pro is stellar. It's the Perfect contrast between Space gray and Space black. I can only imagine the popularity if Apple offered that for a color in the new iPad.

did anyone have second thoughts on the gold iPads after purchasing and after their return period was over? I got mine but thinking it may get "old" after some time and iPads are usually not replaced that often. I only use a Smart Cover, no back, and prefer white bezels.

Also if anyone has any pics of a silver IPP with a leather/silicone Smart Cover that would be most appreciated.
 
so looks like the best buy cc 10% doesn't work, although it looks like someone here got lucky with an override. Guess I'll wait for the fall then.

Not because I'm a "male" or "mature", but because it's the only one that offers a black front. On a serious or productivity device I want a black front.

Perhaps they simply don't like iPads.
 
I didn't vote on what I got, because I think its silly to say male/female. Color is genderless and it doesn't matter. I buy what I prefer simple as that.

I bought silver 10,5. My previous ipad2 was silver as well. Space gray would be good for me as well.

I understand the equality, you're getting @, but no way as a guy am I getting rose gold anything. I will say that I wear link clothing whenever the mood fits, but being saddled with a pink device for years to come... I'll pass.
