Its ugly slow and bloated. Need more reasons?
Well, ios7 is ugly to some people too.
Bloated? I call it functionality.

The third time Samsung reinstalled apps that I had turned off I was done. Fingerprint sensor got worse as time went on. Screen was nice, The bookmarks on Chrome with the last update looked very nice. No more folder icons, still look 2010 on IOS chrome.I agree. Touchwiz is horrible and I'll stick with iOS over it. But if I were to go with android moto x and nexus lines look ideal.
The moto x is doesn't mess with the os with its own useless features. When I look at the note 3 and s5 menus it looks like a horrible mess.
Samsung should follow suit from Motorola by accentuating features in the same way moto does with the always listening chip.
Lol. It's bloat to the majority of the people.
Samsung sells hundred of millions phones with Touchwiz (many more than iphone) and certainly more than any other Android manufacturers. Maybe your so-called "bloat" is what attracted buyers and helped Samsung dethroned Apple and making apple desperate to the point of needing to sue, copy and steal to play catch up.
Apple have 3 iPhones for sale Samsung have how many?
Why is choice a bad thing?
Yet they sell more phones than anyone else? So people must like itLol. It's bloat to the majority of the people.

that must be a small majority ..
When they do we will find out .Oh and BTW .Apple has the resources to out spend everyone on advertisingYou do realise how many phones they sell right? Plus their advertising...
Ok humour me with this, if HTC spent as much as Samsung advertising, who do you think would win out?
I came the opposite way. I've had my iPhone 5 for nearly 2 years and came from a Samsung S3. It was a good phone but buggy. I didn't root it though as I didn't think I should have had to, but it would probably have solved all its issues.Currently have an iPhone 4, which I've had for 3 years, and I'm happy with it. I had it jailbroke and also ran ios 7 betas on it. It's now running 7.1.1.
I have recently got hold of a Galaxy S3 and I have had it rooted and a custom Rom installed, and now I will have a play with it.

Those that wear rose colored iGlasses will say no, it isn't. But in my eyes it is. I hate having to stick all these apps into a folder and then have that folder stick out like a sore thumb simply because Apple won't let a user hide apps (or not be forced to use a grid of rowed icons. It's ridiculous how dated the iPhone UI still looks because of this.)In my opinion "bloat ware" is just an excuse for those people that want others to think they know what they are talking about say something. For me, this so called bloat has made no difference to my phone, if I don't want the app (bloat) I just disable it. Honestly, it's a non issue.
So here's the question, if I have an iPhone and I don't want the stocks app for instance, is that classed as bloatware? I can't disable it or even hide it from my screen. Just a question so I can understand "bloat ware".
lol the majority of people dont seem to care about bloat nor consider samsung phones "bloated".
Forum and tech guys ? maybe.

Its not about speculation mate, people vote with the wallet and sadly they dont care about HTC phones.
Ive never seen iphone advertising yet they sell like hot cakes, ive seen plenty of HTC ads on soccer matches.
I've never seen adverts for Toyota Corolla's, yet they've been selling like hotcakes for 3 decades. Brand recognition and a loyal customer base is not something built overnight, nor is it easy to achieve in a saturated market. Only one company sells an iPhone, and everyone in the world is familiar with their products. HTC is a small company by comparison. Very small. And they don't produce a plethora of products like Apple. Just because people are ignorant of the HTC brand doesn't indicate a lack of caring. The M8 is an amazing phone and better in many way than an iPhone.
Your statement doesn't give HTC the credit they deserve for making a great phone on a shoestring budget compared to Apple.
I like Touchwiz. It's part of the Galaxy experience and it swims quite smooth when debloated and on ART.
I've never had a performance related issue with the S5, which is all I had with the S4.
I like both android and apple. But even hardcore android fans prefer the nexus line over Samsung handsets.
Too much crap on them that no one uses or cares about. And touchwiz is horrific.
I personally agree with this, but many like Touchwiz.
And I'll take my Moto X over both my Nexus 4 and 5, both of which are collecting dust.

The moto x looks like a terrific device. Motorola added the always listening feature which is actually a extremely useful feature that apple and Samsung can both learn from.
