I prefer the form of the 11" but the screen and battery life are just so much better on the 13.

I wish I could change my vote from 13" to 11"...
You have to consider the trade off. Yes, the 11" is equally powerful and much smaller, but I was getting 3-3.5hrs which completely defeats the purpose of an ultraportable for me and my eyes literally have worsened due to excessive hours spent hunching over and staring at a small screen.

In no way did I "hate" the 11", but I just sold mine today and am very happy that my options are now open. I can get a 13" with great battery tomorrow or I can wait a month for the new MBP or MBA refresh.

My ideal laptop would be a bezel-free MBA11 which would be a 12" screen in a tiny machine. But most likely I'll get a 13" Air because I feel that's the best model for me.

Screen size and battery life made the 13" an easy choice. When I want small form factor I use my iPad.

I love how the 11 looks, it gorgeous, but i needed the battery and larger screen so no brainer for me. As mentioned before, iPad for small form factor.

MacBook Air 11' better than 13' because portability and usability

I think MBA 11 inches is better, I haven't noticed major difference in screen size, when writing documents and browsing web sites, I can use photoshop and all the programs without any issues. It serves the purpose of a main laptop as Lion OX increases the visibility of programs on the screen. The 11 inches MBA is really ultraportable. While there is some difference in screen size between the 11 and 13 inches, the difference does not affect usability at all (just 2 inches difference in real state screen) but this difference makes look the MBA 13 inches gigantic in comparison with the 11 inches one. Whenever I am on the train or a flight, I can use it it without being afraid that the person front the front seat will damage the lid. When I had my former 13 inches many times I had to stop using it because of this. If you really want to notice screen size difference, you may go for a MacBook Pro 15 inches, for me the whole point of having an Air is that it should be ultraportable and the dimensions of the 13 inches (more than its weight) sacrifice portability. Also, the 11 inches MBA is the most beautiful laptop I am aware of.:apple:

11"

Having owned both (owned the 1st gen 11" air for 12 months then purchased the updated 13") I prefer the 11" air :)

Unless the 11" improves its battery life SIGNIFICANTLY, it's just not a suitable mobile laptop.

I mean, you only get around 3 hours of real-life usage under batteries. That's not nearly enough for what's supposed to be the ultimate mobile machine.
