i wish mine was 21" then i could keep my pizza in it
it would keep it warm and everything...
The MBA is better for keeping your pizza since you can carry it wherever you go without needing a bag

Holy crap I hope that's a photoshop (if so, good job lol).
Mine works fine...too well actually so I had to shut it off. It read it from the camera so if I move my head it picks up the light behind me and changes the brightness, real annoying going back and forth when I'm reading something next to my next and I keep moving my head. One thing I noticed that doesn't work is the Ambient Light Sensor. It just does not work on my MacBook Pro at all. The Screen does not Auto-Dimm and neither does the Keyboard light. If I put a light bulb right on top of the computer (literally) the lights do not change. And if I then fill the room with complete pitch darkness again no change. And I have the Auto Sensing set for the Keyboard & Display. (Double, and Triple checked with many changes from it Off and On). Basically I can turn the Keyboard lights on even in pure daylight.
Yeah, I'm getting used to it though. I turned on tap click so I don't have to push down the pad which works so much better.I'm finding the Touch Pad a bit difficult to get used to. I was accustomed to leaving my Thumb on the base of the button on my old 17" and then Clicking when required. The problem is as you apply pressure to the button via your Thumb the thumb moves ever so slightly, just from the compression it fills out a few mm's in one direction or another. This is enough to make the mouse move a couple of pixels which can make closing windows a fun experience if your not paying attention.
Can anybody check whether the problem is present on UB MBP17: Late 08 Macbook Pro screen flickering

Are you sure it uses the camera because it used light sensors underneath the Keyboard on my last MacBook Pro and the Camera on my new one works fineIs the new sensor next to the Camera behind the Glass ?
This is Leopard we are talking about, not Windows 95

I am currius to know, if there is enough difference from 2.66 to 2.93 ghz, to do the upgrade.
Regarding my Ambient Light Sensor not working:
I repaired permissions and rebooted the system and now it appears to be working fine. I don't know if it just needed the reboot or if the permissions being repaired fixed it but its working great now.
I still prefer manual control over all the stuff but its nice to know that it works after-all if they got something so simple like a sensor wrong who knows what else happened under the hood. I'm glad its all fine.
