My Mac Mini 2010 hooked up to a Samsung LED 46". Those are B&W speakers, and you can see I have a Big Jambox for casual audio output (battery life of this thing is incredible). For loud movies and rock/jazz listening, I fire up the speakers which are powered by a Denon amplifier (not pictured but yo can see the cable running underneath the carpeting on the right).

How do you guys like surfing the web and what not on your tv? I've been thinking of replacing my macbook with a mini connected to my tv but I am worried I would get sick of the reading distance. Whats your guys opinion?

It gets tiring after a while. Now I am using the Samsung setup for movie watching through Apple TV. For Internet surfing, I moved back to my desktop setup.

Hello, hleewell. May I ask, which B&W speakers are those? Also, what media console is that, it looks really sleek. Love it! Amazing setup, indeed.

Media console? This is a Mac Mini Thread, yo :)
The B&W speakers are the 600 series. In a small
room they sound like a set of $7000 speakers

Nice and simple. Getting ready to move or I'd attempt to clean the wires up.

Here's my mix of Mac Mini, iMac and rMBP. I took a cue from some of you great mac users and placed a led behind the main monitor to provide a diffused ambient light.

anyone using a yamasaki catleap, crossover, or shimian monitor?

I'm using a DGM monitor which is a slightly more expensive one than these, but has a much lower rate of dead pixels and the like (I'm told they use A+ panels, the same as Apple and Dell).

I don't have a mini though, but let me know if you've any questions.

Few will understand what I say next. Glancing at the date of this post, I wish we would have known what would happen to the price over the next month...

I know, a bit overkill...

Maybe, if they made a 21 inch laptop - it's nice to have all that real estate.
When you live on a boat, there's not much moving (except the boat - tee-hee)

So how do you go to work/school unless the boat is always docked?
