I’d say so! I always get excited when I get a new Apple product. I don’t have an iPad, although I used to. This is going to go to work with me and when I travel. I’m in processing hell lol.
Sounds like the opposite of the US. Here people buy homes they know damn well that they can't afford. So many that they tank the economy and create a worldwide crisis.
Oh and my 10.5 comes tomorrow.

10.5/256/SG/Wi-Fi. Ordered within minutes of the store coming back online after the keynote. Was 'Pending' on my bank account on Friday, I got a shipping confirmation and tracking on Saturday and the money was withdrawn officially yesterday (Sunday). Supposed to receive it tomorrow via UPS Next Day Air. Weirdly enough, the label never officially showed in UPS' system until early this morning (around 1AM MST). Still shows that the package has not been picked up but is 'Ready for UPS'. My Smart Cover and Watch band that I ordered the same day both came out of the Apple facility in Rialto, CA, and I believe I have received devices out of that center too. It's already nearing 7PM and I'm getting worried that the package has not been picked up.
Any one else in the southwest US (particularly in Arizona) have their iPads show up in UPS' system yet? If not it'll calm my nerves a little to know I'm not the only one.

I'm in Arkansas rather than Arizona but my UPS tracking shows just Ready for UPS as well. However, it is in Tennessee which is easily overnight for me so I know I'll get it tomorrow.
Same deal here – ordered within minutes of the keynote ending and now at "Order Processed, Waiting for UPS" coming from Rialto, CA. Since our packages aren't going far (mine an hour flight to San Francisco), I expect they'll be picked up late this evening, quickly put on a plane, be trucked to the local distribution center by 5-6am, and then head out for delivery. I think they sometimes wait on picking-up packages until they're ready – but when they do, they keep moving til they reach you. UPS is in the movement business, not the warehouse business... and they know logistics (probably even the plane your package will be on before they even pick it up). I'm confident those in our position will be good for delivery tomorrow.
It feels like christmas eve!! Well, christmas eve, with me having to wake up & work 10 hours before getting to open my gift...anyway, very excited for my 10.5 inch 256 GB space gray to arrive tomorrow!
mine is 'invalid' since Saturday, and 'ready for ups' since late Sunday. and still haven't picked up by ups yet. both UPS and apple still shows a delivery date of tomorrow.
since it's just a domestic shipping within the UPS, and the package is probably sitting at a UPS/Apple facility near airport, they sure can delivery it anywhere in the US overnight, so I'm not too worried.
however, apple does have record of messing up launch day delivery before (not iPhone of course). and also, I had a UPS package, next day air (not even save) taken 2 days to deliver, the UPS plane had a malfunction mid-flight and had to divert back to the airport that night. luckily, my package didn't fall off the sky.

In northern cal. Same here. They must have changed their process. What's bad about it is it will move overnight and I won't be able to change it to pick up at depo!!!
I'm in the same boat, in California. Still sitting at waiting for pickup. Having been through this many times with apple, don't worry. Ups just doesn't update their status because of the huge quantity of stuff being shipped at once.
When they say "by the end of day" does it mean someone has to be home all day just to sign for it ?
I live in a building with a concierge, UPS deliveries in my part of Toronto seem to come at the same time every day. (In my case mid afternoon.) I know they do get signatures for these types of deliveries.
Thanks everyone! I haven't pre-ordered anything directly from Apple since the Apple Watch first came out 2+ years ago (and that was a race to the finish lol), which IIRC was shipped with FedEx. The only other preorder was for my 6s Plus which I had to order through Verizon at the time to get on the Device Payment Plan.
No I wouldn't want them just to drop the package at the door. I just wish they'd narrow the delivery time to maybe a couple of hours instead of just "by the end of day"
8:30pm local time and UPS hasnt even updated the tracking info from my shipment that got a label on Friday. Maybe I'll get lucky but I'm not counting on it. I'm in Seattle area and I believe it is shipping from Cali (Rialto)
Sign up for a free UPS My Choice account. Often you'll get a two-hour window for deliveries. Mine is usually 10am-12pm.
If you have signed up for ups's membership thingy they give you a smaller window. (Assuming yours is coming by ups)
Where was yours being shipped from/to? Hoping mine changes soon, I have a flight tomorrow afternoon and either want to pay for a morning ship window, or pick it up at the ship center in the am.
The origin scan is Harrisburg, PA. Interestingly, I don't have a narrower delivery window yet, even though I signed up for UPS My Choice.
