I edited my post to clarify: the wifi on my iPad is completely off. My Sidecar connection is purely through USB-C.

Yes, I got a response from Apple Executive Relations Liaison, will be talking to them...
Don't let them any chance to refer you to the support. They're useless.Hello 'my-name',

The person I talked to did not mention support but instead said Apple Engineering will be contacting me again. Hopefully, this goes somewhereDon't let them any chance to refer you to the support. They're useless.
Got off the call from Apple Executive Relations Liaison and the person said Apple Engineering will call me within 24 hours.
What I told them:
- This is a MacBook Pro 16" issue
- Happens on any MBP 16 that has 5300M and 5500M.
- On Windows 10, this problem can be fixed
- This causes MBP to heat up because of the GPU
What he told me:
- Apple Engineering might have missed this
- Forwarded my message to Apple Engineering as he does not deal with this technical aspect.
- That Apple Engineering will contact me to further discuss this issue

is this true? this issue is fixable on windows???- On Windows 10, this problem can be fixed
There is a 14-day waiting time for 5600.
Would a driver update just be a part of a typical software update?
I have a 16 inch coming in (i7/5500) and I'm wondering if the people who report that everything is fine just have lighter use-cases? I would assume since the GPU problem is consistent across build-options, then this would be a much broader issue. From my experience, this problem is heavily discussed on this forum as well as some of the macbook subreddits. Have people seen this topic come up to this degree on other discussion forums?
Would the 13 inch (i7) be a decent downgrade in case I need to exchange?
I got mine in 2 days directly from china.Pretty sure thats on all custom based mac orders.....

Curious...has anyone tried installing Mojave to address these issues? I say this based on a post I saw on reddit. The user has a 15" 2019 MBP....no issues with Mojave. Updated to Catalina and now is reporting major increases in heat / fans.
cool mine took over a week when I ordered originallyI got mine in 2 days directly from china.
i don't know if you get any priority if you get a replacement from apple but after the credit card got charged the replacement was shipped immediately.cool mine took over a week when I ordered originally
I think there are some good news guys.. They updated imacs with radeon 5000 series so the problem will reach more and more people. And soon or later they have to fix it
Enormous watt usage won’t be noticeable?Except imac will be on dgpu all the time and it has much more cooling, so won't be even noticeable there.

are you sure the iGPU will not be used? btw most of the user will not plugin an external monitor nor daisy chain monitors so the issue is not even a point there right?Except imac will be on dgpu all the time and it has much more cooling, so won't be even noticeable there.
