Not much progress to report this morning, but happy it’s doing something at least. I have the option to change my delivery to my local CC but they want to charge for it. I will call them instead when it’s headed their way and they will hold for me like in previous years.

If you have Premium UPS My Choice it is free. But if you are using the free version then yes they do charge.

9/23 Postal Service update:

My minutes-after-preorder-opening iPhone 14 Pro Black 256GB order which received the 9/23 Postal Service delivery blessing, has shipped over the night via UPS and has a 9/16 delivery date on it! Same as several of the other 9/23 postal service delivery orders on here recently. The ship to address is my home address so I take this to mean that it will be delivered to my address by 9/16 7PM, and not the strange 9/23 date by 'postal service'.

Combining this with everyone else who has received this same update so far and I think it's safe to assume at this point that the 9/23 postal service isn't accurate. :)

Wasn’t home at the time (was in school) but saw it happen live and couldn’t get home for a while that day cause I lived so close by and the trains were shut down. When I got home, though, I could see the plume of smoke from my window for a while. Something I’ll never forget.

What’s crazy is the weather that day was the most perfect, ever. And not one single cloud in the sky.

Just so you know that tracking number is still very clearly visible. You'll have to go over it with the highlighter tool several times before it becomes completely opaque.

Congratulations on getting your tracking, though! :) crazy that we're already only five days away from launch.

If you have never been to the memorial and museum you need to go - it is almost too much to take in when you think about those two towers coming down in a very confined area.

I did. It took me 3+ hours to finish this whole tour. There was so much information. It was wild. The whole energy is on different level over there.

From past - personal - experiences (and from what other people have said) it's likely that you will see an improvement in your delivery dates sometime relatively soon. In 2020 for example, I had November 20-30th as my 12 Pro's delivery date, which made its way down the the 13th, but ended up arriving on the 12th. It's a pretty common thing. My current dates are 9.28 - 10.3 which mean I personally expect it as soon as 9.20 up to 9.23. Could always fall right into the estimated timeframe, of course. But it's very unlikely to arrive later than the estimation. Hope this helped.

They did a great job with the memorial. The Freedom Tower is really nice, too. But those twin towers - they had character. Something that will never be replaced…along with everyone who died that day.

Also another reason why we think this is our potential flight which will be carrying our iPhones is because of the upcoming schedule.

Just wanting to leave an update.

I'm sure you all remember my 256 Purple Pro, which of course (in my mind) is the index ordered early, promised 9/16, "Postal Service 9/23" case.

I'm happy to report, as we speculated all Friday and Saturday would be the case, it is in fact coming via UPS and delivers 9/16.

Yup - still says Postal Service, Arrives 9/23 in the Apple Store.

For all those who worried that your phone was coming a week later that it deserved, and would delivered by some less than reliable USPS worker - as we said all along, it will be coming UPS and in the time frame that was given during the ordering process.

Hooray!
