I’m behind 40 pages I need to catch up on. But I got a good nights sleep, the previous night I was too hyper/ excited and had insomnia lol. Zero sleep that night. 🤣
I woke up to the set up your new iPhone notification, and now I have tracking with UPS in the app. Looks like my origin scan was at 4:38 PM.

Same here. Due to their route planning or whatever, I've had release day shipments arrive as late as 8:30 pm or 9 pm. I hope the drivers are getting overtime on those days. I have several Apple Stores within driving distance (I'm in the S.F. Bay Area), but I don't want to run the risk of not getting the model I want.Only bummer for me is UPS arrives late in the day here. I probably should’ve done a pick up at the Apple store.
Yes sir! I have noticed that too. Funny thing is I ordered 2 iPhones for myself and both of them got on 2nd wave delivery. What are the odds to that.

Question and it's somewhat of an aside. How are you planning to move from your existing iPhone to the new iPhone? My initial conditions will be, I think, old iPhone has iOS 16, new iPhone has iOS 15.something. I backup my existing phone to iCloud. I think what will happen is that I can choose that backup but the system will say that the new phone needs updating and I'll have the option to do that then. I don't think it works the same with with an iTunes backup. My existing iPhone, a 12 PM, uses an eSim. What do you think?

It does not change to ‘shipped’ until the phone gets scanned at Louisville, KY.
It's probably being transported to another hub to make it's way to the Airport so we can catch a departing flight.
