Are you going to order the new iPhone 14?

It’s not coming by the Post Office. Myself and a few others had the same thing for our Dynamic Islands, but we received tracking from UPS with a delivery for the 16th. I just received mine a couple of hours ago.

Put your order number on Track by Reference on the UPS site, minus the last two digits and see if something comes up for you. If not, you may be able to get information tomorrow.

On the UPS App, go to my packages and select track and that’s where my order popped up. I searched my phone number and order number (even minus last 2 of order and phone number) on reference and nothing popped up. But because my name and address were entered to the system it now says i have a package coming to me.

This one will beat it!
I was trying to find this thread from last year‘s 13 but couldn’t. How many pages/posts did it get up to?
You guys think so? This was started way later.

Here is the link for last year's thread. iPhone 13.

Can someone fill me in on why setting it to hold at UPS CC is preferable? Guarantee to receive Friday AM at location opening time?

I’ve never had a preorder before so am curious if I should do that.

This is my first Day 1 release date iPhone since the iPhone X. Part of me is excited and the other part of me has buyers remorse because my iPhone 12 Pro Max is working just fine and looks just as good as it did the day I bought it. Apple really gets me when there are cameras improvements lol.
You are going to love the new iPhone. So many incredible features. Get ready to be blown away.

I’m with you here. My 12 pro still looks perfect. I skipped last year and swore I would skip this year too. But with the camera upgrade, always on display and dynamic island I just couldn’t resist upgrading this year. The trade in helped a lot with my decision as well.

Hey all! I'm trying to plan a little ahead for Friday. I'm going to be working until 5 PM and I don't know if there will be anyone available. I've read a few posts in this thread about holding at the UPS CC and not the UPS Store (which will add a few days, which would kill me). I'd, obviously, like to avoid any delay! Luckily, I work 2 - 3 minutes from the UPS CC, so it'll be much easier to go and grab the phone on my lunch break or after work and not have to worry about UPS attempting delivery when no one is home.

For information: I'm a part of the first wave, and the attached picture is where my tracking is at the moment. I am willing to pay for My Choice Premium, it's only $20. My question is, what is the best time to go and try to change the delivery to the UPS CC? Now, or wait until it's in the United States?

The one and only time that I setup to hold at the UPS CC, I wasn’t able to pick up the phone until after 6pm. I’d rather take my chances with UPS delivering to my home sometime before 7pm. It took me an 1 1/2 round trip to pickup from my CC. Never again.

Well depending on if you will be home for the delivery and what time it will deliver makes a difference. Some people would just feel better picking it up rather than waiting for it to be delivered.

I found my shipment by reference number but it's only showing the last few digits of the tracking number. Is there any way to get the full tracking number?

Holding it at UPS CC is preferable because that’s usually the place where you get your destination scan before it gets on the truck for delivery. By requesting it UPS CC, they just pull your package aside and you can pick it up there. You are 100% guaranteed that you will be able to pick it up that day Unless they happen to misplace your package.

Now doing the UPS Store pick up can add 1-2 business days. It still has to get on the truck, and they have their normal routine and sometimes the UPS Store is their last stop as they have to pick up any packages that needs to be picked by customer dropped packages.

Whoops. I chose to hold at UPS Store...damn it!
