Soo.. does anyone know when store pick up orders get charged? Before you pick up or right when you pick the order up?

Most stores will do an initial pre-authorization hold when the order is made but won't actually charge the card until pickup has been completed.

This is correct. Wave 2 folks. Don't expect any type of activity to hit for a long time. Possibly 10+ hours or longer.

For Wave 1: It is currently unknown.

I won't be unfortunately. I usually can see the Tribute in Light from my rooftop. Sadly, it's super cloudy and rainy today, so I'm not sure. I'll check once the sun sets. Here are the lights from the 20th anniversary (last year) from my rooftop. Really sad reminder each year. 😪

Apple doesn't want people tracking iPhones from China? They don't want people finding out who knows.

I tried aftership it shows one bit more info on the last scan (arrived at hub or sorting center)

I think I'm mostly caught up now! I just noticed I'm now a "macrumors 6502" 🎉. I guess this is based on how many posts I've done?

I had an excellent everything bagel egg, turkey, cheddar & avocado sandwich today for lunch!

It seems that everyone's mood today is way better now that we mostly all have tracking numbers.

@TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 has said that, historically, this is where we're expecting to wait awhile. Either it's going through customs or waiting for flights? I might be wrong.

Just to clarify it's going through security clearance. A release authorization from the Chinese government following up with getting on a departure flight.

Those look like the exact same reference numbers on one of my phones.

It gets even better, the track by reference is now working so I tried to track by phone number. It brought up the tracking info for the one I have in MyChoice. Logging back into MyChoice those same reference numbers are there but not the phone number.

I know right?! Maybe that's why I couldn't find anything yesterday? It seems some people were able to search by their order number and phone number though? 🤔

Seems like it was pre-matured. No one departed or got on board. No departed from facility scan. Thanks for checking.

I haven't yet and I preordered within minutes of the store coming back up... it's still stuck on September 28-October 3 delivery.

Do you happen to know if there is anything different when preordering an unconnected iPhone?

Bear with me everyone but trying to figure out if the cable I get with the iPhone 14 pro max will work in the car ok? We have 2 to 4 USB ports. Will that work?
