Hello all! Our family had launch day issues so my better half snagged one coming via delivery for launch day and also got my mother in law’s via pickup on launch day in store. Mine delivery is delayed until 9/28 due to app issues Friday morning.
Today I managed to find one available for pickup on the 17th, and I snagged it. My Apple credit card was immediately hit with the charge. I am going to release my 9/28 arrival, but that charge hasnt happened yet.
What is interesting to me, my mother in laws phone for pickup hasn’t been charged yet, and that was set up last Friday, while the pickup I just set up today had the full charge come through immediately.
I dont know what to make of that.

I ordered two unconnected iPhones and both are in wave 2.
Is comes with a USB-C to Lightning cable. If you have a USB-A to Lightning cable already in your car, it will work with the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro phones.

Apple site's order status won't flip to "Shipped" with Tracking info until they clear customs in the US - usually Wed/Thurs. All of the tracking you are reading about now until then is based on UPS updates and synching them with flight arrival/departures of UPS planes.
When I preordered, I selected the circled option (it shows up on the app/mobile as "Unconnected" and here on desktop view as "Connect to any carrier later").
The page did quote me a September 16 delivery date when I went through Apple Pay then it magically became September 28-October 3 at the confirmation screen.

Could be or they are having a lot of issues with their servers being overloaded. I am still waiting for the tracking number for my 2nd phone. Both phones were ordered within a couple of minutes of the start of preorders. Apple shows "prepared for shipment" for both and deliver on 9/16.

No canceling the request won't delay even more. I've done that few times too and never had issues.
This means your iPhone is completely "Unlocked" This is how I also prefer it when buying an iPhone. Don't have to deal with a carrier. Looks like your iPhone was delayed when it arrived to a confirmation screen. What time exactly did you order? When dod you get your confirmation email?

It wouldn't hurt to get in touch with Apple via an App and ask them if express shipping is available for you. Maybe they can honor it. Many people here had success with it. Let them know what happened and they will make it right.
Yes we all made it even me LOL and perhaps at the Hub/sorting center that aftership called it we are now all together wave 1 and 2. And soon will board same flight together at least we can party together at the hub
