Right ... you can track by reference on desktop. But it only gives the last 4 digits of the tracking number and says "on the way" .. that's it. I used my phone number for Reference .. no dashes. If signed up for UPS My Choice the shipment will automatically appear in the app with full tracking number and all tracking information.

Yup! But my work days go by fast cause it's always 7-10 things I need to do lol. This is going to be a long week but at least iOS 16 comes out tomorrow and then reviews for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro come out Tuesday or Wednesday.

Same boat (though my order was completed a bit later than yours since I was part of the region that was staring at the "almost there" screen for close to 15 minutes until the update to open the store hit the CDN); still on preparing to ship (9/16 by express delivery) and nothing in UPS MyChoice (checked from both desktop and the mobile app).

Try tracking by reference and using the phone number on the order as the reference number. I found my tracking using that method before it showed up in my choice.

I used to boil them too. Found an article somewhere that says steaming makes them easier to peel. Steaming is life changing. Faster and super easy to peel. Will never go back. 😂

Fair enough. I'm coming from a 42mm so I'm not sure yet what size I'd like to get. The 41mm is closest to what I'm used to but I like the idea of a bigger screen.

UGH, verified that my My Choice address matches the shipping address, but no packages are showing up! Can track by reference by using my phone number, so I know the phones are in transit, just miss being able to track movement!

Need to add your phone number as a packages lookup option under your account. Won’t work without it.

Why are people “biting the bullet” for the $20 membership versus just paying $6 for a one time hold at the UPS CC? I just put in a request for the $6 hold. Did I make a mistake?

I have 3 packages to pick up over next 2 weeks (2 iPhones and an ultra). So every package will be 6$ each totaling to $18. Membership is $20 and is for a year . More value for money in paying $2 more !

I started steaming them because it tends to make them peel more cleanly / easily. (I guess you’re also supposed to put them in ice water when you’re done steaming… maybe this works for boiled eggs too?)

Requires less water too I suppose. Otherwise I think you’ll see the same texture / flavor.

If you make more than 3 orders in a year, it will be worth.

I make more than 3 orders in a week, but the only one I care about every year is this one and only because it’s a Friday and I usually want to be able to go out to dinner with my new phone, but inevitably I end up having to wait on UPS and then the restoring process ends up going all dang night!

I tried to order for pickup at 8am at the local apple store, but it wouldn’t let my order go through and instead kept flipping it to “delivery on Friday.” 🙄

Hopefully UPS processes my $6 hold at CC request and I can just go grab it at 8:30am and start the long af restore process.

It was much better when it was free. It is stupid that UPS charges for it at all to be honest. But everyone wants that nectar of subscription income… Anyway…

It will depend on where you live and how many UPS packages you get. I subscribe mainly to have any UPS SurePost packages automatically upgraded to UPS Ground. When I lived in Philly SurePost added 3-5 extra days while the package was right next to Philly.

I’ve never used it for CC pickup though. I don‘t intend to here either. I’ll just let UPS drop it off as usual. But I might use one of my included allotments to pick when the driver shows up! So I’m not waiting all night!

Nice. Does it taste the same? I don’t want raw boiled/steamed eggs. I like them well cooked and I usually take the yolk out. I don’t like it. 🥚

Those of you that are just reporting your tracking update. Are you just getting your tracking numbers assigned? Or are you guys just finding out?

The reason why I'm asking is that Wave 2 was completed earlier today. Not sure if there is going to be a wave 3 or not.

I noticed there's no cutout in the screen protector now! My 13 Pro ESR had a tiny cutout.

There’s a very very tiny cutout for the ear piece speaker but that’s it!
