Is one of your phones iPhone 14 (non-pro model)? I ordered my iPhone 14 as soon as the store reopened, and scheduled for delivery on September 16th. But no tracking number yet. I got my confirmation 5:16 PST.

And if you restore your 14 from a 13 backup, the iOSs need to be the same build or it won't migrate.
Nothing to update from RC beta. Moving on to HomePod 16 updates.
While you are waiting. Here are all the noticeable features. If this iOS 16 surpasses my expectations im definitely sending an email to Tim Cook and Craig Federighi. 👏Could you kindly post the the remaining hours to download the update once your request has been approved please? I’m curious in knowing if the Servers are being discriminatory.

In my case, I have the actual UPS Hub near me where the shipments come in to and are loaded onto the UPS trucks for local delivery, so when I call there for a package to be held, they just don't load it on the UPS delivery truck for my area, and just hold it there for me to come by to pick up. Their customer service hours for pick up are 8:00-9:30 am and then again in the afternoon, but again, this is an actual UPS hub so that is definitely different than a UPS Store or or 3rd party location. I'm just bypassing it getting onto a UPS delivery truck saving time and I just swing by and pick it up on my way to work.
This question doesn’t belong in this particular thread. It’s a great question, but it needs to be in its own thread since it has nothing to do with tracking a new phone’s shipment.
I'm in the exact same boat as you friend. Wife ordered a purple Pro Max 125 and was in the 9/23 postal service bumped up to 9/16 crowd. My black Pro Max 125 is still sitting at 9/28-10/3 Postal Service. Both ordered within minutes and had 9/16 delivery dates throughout checkout process.
I "upgraded" to iOS 16, but it did not actually update. Having to redownload and start it again.
I've got no wifi at work....Savages. Gotta wait until I get home. Best I can do over 5G is 15.7 update.☹️
Think you're recommending it, if so I agree. I get old phone updated, do a backup. When new phone arrives, it wants an update to current software. Both aligned in OS version, proceed to transfers and setup, voila!

Just got done attending 2 meetings, One in person and one in Microsoft Teams. Now I don't know exactly what we talked about. Next year, I'm going to take a whole week off during iPhone Pre-Order times. The struggle is real.

I've been researching & keeping UpToDate since beta 1 was released & it indeed is feature rich. ** I was downloading via mobile data even though I was on Wi-Fi so I rejoined the Wi-Fi network & my remaining download time has been drastically reduced.

I know Apples being slammed with update request and “can I get mine sooner” request, but they’re completely off the rails this time.
I have 28th to 3rd delivery window. I tried to get it moved up by just one or two days.
No less than two different people at different resolution centers told me, paraphrasing here, that “because the item was a new product launch there was no way to change the delivery window”.
Just one or two days. Not asking for launch day or even the next week, just one or two days.
Their answer is a pure lie. I can’t remember if it was the XS Max or the 11 Pro Max launch when I was going to run into a delivery issue, but I emailed Tim Cook. Within 2 hours I was communicating with a top manager and my phone arrived 3 days after launch instead of a couple of weeks.
Apple needs to get a “style” type of manual for giving out info.

Apple restricts UPS to give that detailed information until it arrives in KY, following up with an Import scan. It's due to the security reasoning.
Something to play with even though I already backed up phone and archived for the moving to new phone which usually has older new iOS than one we get then I have to update it first. Now with the 13 backup at 15.61 that will work great. So why not can play with while we wait.Going to download the update. Might as well. While we are waiting
