I gave in preparing update on my 13 ProMax right now that was fast.
They'll be fine today. Friday, 9/16, that's the meltdown. Add carriers' servers struggle in the mix and all mayhem breaks.
Yep, same for me in wave 1 also.
I thought I'd try AfterShip also, but it shows me exactly what I see on the UPS My Choice app. Would just like to see some kind of movement in 2 days. I know, it was the weekend, but by now over there you would think it would have moved out of ZhengZhou since it's late Monday going on Tuesday now there.

That's clearly a lie. Why would anyone want to leave the smooth polished and coolest Wave 2 for the smaller, less refined, dare I say near beta quality wave 1?

Not really. We're gonna get new e-SIMs with our 14s....so it'll be like the 12 to 13 transition. I didn't switch to e-SIM until I actually activated the 13PM last year. It didn't even seem to be a thing, about switching before your 14 arrives until it came up in this thread.
There's a fair amount of speculation around what the tea leaves about shipped product "sitting" in ZhengZhou (Wave 1 and Wave 2) not moving and when it will.
While I don't have any "inside" info, having worked large product logistics before, we always had the following logic (not saying Apple is the same and perhaps they have a different arrangement than UPS, but I doubt it's too different in anything other than the financial terms given this was also for a Fortune 10 company): don't rush the product out of CN once individual units are coarsely sorted and palletized in bulk for domestic sort in Memphis and then destination sort at the local facility.
US Customs will almost always clear it before it even physically arrives state side, and it is much cheaper to keep it at UPS facilities in CN until that actual clearance happens, and even clearance is issued in advance, it makes no real reason to move it state side where storage costs are easily 10X in Louisville or in the Foreign Trade Zone in PANC (even for a day or two, this is not cheap at all) unless there's some very clear and credible danger of a delay en route (wx, pilot/handler strike, political issues, etc).
I wouldn't expect it to move much before 36-48 hrs before delivery date (Weds). It may, for sure, but I wouldn't worry about no movement until Thursday, really.

Yup mine is still in Processing and have a pending charge on Apple Card.
Sounds like Verizon already getting fatigued.
Thats because your phone is still in China. That is just the paperwork for clearance approval already being submitted to customs in Kentucky so when the phones get there they aren't backed up in customs.
9/28-10/3 here. I was told all through checkout 9/16 delivery. No updates or charges yet. Still holding on that just maybe it'll happen 😂 but expecting for next week 🙁
