As we have no reported movement from anyone in the ranged (9/23-10/3, 9/28-10/3) "postal service" groups, I do fear that you are in "Wave 3" or whatever the early post launch day waves will be called. I suppose there still is time before a launch day 9/16 delivery is completely ruled out, but the lack of any motion is concerning. Us OG 9/23 Posties are still doing our iPhone delivery karma dances for you guys....

YESSS I finally got my citizens loan emails for iUP. Lol despite all the reassurances that the emails will come, I love to stress about things until they’re resolved.
I also updated to iOS 16, and it’s nice so far. I think the Lock Screen switcher will be a pain in the ass because it’s so easily triggered, but hopefully I’m wrong.

I’m in the same boat, no pending charge for the AirPods yet either. I even asked Apple about and the iPhone today and they said everything looked okay.
Grasping at straws to see if any kind of payment snafu is why I missed the launch day delivery but at this point it’s more to sate my curiosity than anything.

The reason why there is no movement
Wave 1 has been completed. (Expect to be departed from China soon possibly this evening).
Wave 2 could be in progress still and we are going through the following process below. Notice the time frame. It takes time before getting Departed from the Facility scan.
The message below happens in China while we are waiting. It takes time for the clearance to be approved. This is what people from wave 2 are going through.

It makes little sense for (UPS and APPL at least) there to be any movement until Weds or Thurs, even: why would UPS want to keep these pallets in PANC or KSDF where storage (for even 1-2 days is incredibly expensive with this volume, may not even be possible based on status of warehouses and foreign trade zones) let alone before customs has even cleared (b/c then they have to be in a foreign trade zones in PANC or KSDF which is even scarcer real estate) when real estate in their facility in ZhenZhou is an order of magnitude cheaper (or more) and they have plenty of freighter capacity to move pre-sorted pallets to KSDF before the overnight sort on Thursday?
Outside a clear risk of political unrest, weather, labor strikes, etc the risk of a mechanical issue ls low because UPS always has reserve crews and aircraft in place for stuff like this, etc, it actually makes less sense to move it state side until the last minute.
Tues or Weds movement still gets them to KSDF in more than enough time, even with a crew swap/tech stop in PANC to get into the domestic package stream for Friday deliveries.

I am in the 09/28*10/3 group and I haven't see any movement beyond moving from Order Placed to Processing
