Congratulations! What is your origin scan? What's the date? 9/10 or 9/11?
I haven't cared for Apple's leather cases since last year when the thin leather veneer began peeling off. I used to get the Apple saddle brown every year and absolutely loved them until last year.

When the case get patina overtime, it adds to the uniqueness of the case which in my opinion is one of the crucial points of having a leather case. There was a video by the verge a few years ago about leather patina. Those stripes adds just an extra layer of uniqueness. I have had many leather cases with those stripes, personally I always wish I get the one with those stripes. You should return it if it bothers you. I'll attach a picture of my 13 mini case I got last year with horizontal stripes.

In the past the charge hasn’t posted to my Apple Card until it got to Alaska. I think we just didn’t get departed scans and we will get them all when they hit Alaska. Hey I could be wrong but I know from alll the other zillion apple things I buy that the charge doesn’t post until it’s actually shipped.

When I try to track by reference, it pulls up my order, but it won’t show me any details. Just shows the last four digits of the tracking number, that’s it’s on the way, and will be delivered by 9/16.

I am still at null as well. I called Apple earlier and they assured me that it still says I have an apt for Friday. It doesn't hurt to call and verify with them, I was on hold for about 5 minutes. Hoping it sorts itself out wed-thurs night.
