So this happened courtesy of my bank flagging my card.

I received an email from Apple on Saturday of course stating that my payment didn't go through. I had to wait until this morning to call my bank. I am so angry. I'm using a piece of sh*t XR in the meantime and I'm getting ready to throw it out the window.
 
It's been a miserable weekend of unhelpful tech support. The first lady I talked to said she would delete my old account for me (so I can make a new one with a new My Choice) and that it would take 24 hours and she would call me the next day to let me know it was finished. Then she didn't call so I called back and a guy told me he would send in the work order to have it deleted and that it would take 7 days, at which point I kindly said good bye so that I didn't throw my phone ... and I need my phone ... cuz my new one won't be here until Friday. 😅 UPS has been a nightmare to deal with. Oh ... and the best part ... after he sent in the work order ... I was like ... wait a minute ... I can just have them change the email on the account to my current one. So I called back, and he said it's not possible to cancel the deletion order. So ... here I am.

During the ordering process somehow my phone ended up with Mr Wolfs name on it, charged to Mr Wolfs Apple Card/IUP, but with my first and (edited to unhyphenate) partial last name on the CC. We share a MyChoice account, and the best I can do is last 4 digits. All the billing/phone information is notifying in my Apple Store and notifications, but he is getting all the emails. It's a total CF. Add to that Apple AND UPS servers being totally overwhelmed and I look just like that, too.
 
Sheesh that sounds like a nightmare. I hate dealing with customer service reps. Lately, I’ve had better luck talking to companies on twitter. Maybe you could try reaching out there in DMs? I feel like the deletion order could be canceled if it hasn’t been deleted yet. But maybe I’m wrong.
I don't want to deal with anyone from UPS anymore. I'm just gonna wait until my status changes to shipped and I get the tracking number. At the very least, I'm using the Parcel iOS app which directly connects to my Apple order page and lets me know when the status changes, so I'll know the moment I have access to the tracking. I just kind of wanted to join in on the fun in this thread, lol. It's already shipped according to the tiny bit of info I got from the UPS site so it's probably the first or second wave. I ordered my phone 1 minute after pre-orders started and they charged my card shortly after.
 
It normally takes 30-45 minutes for the scanning to show up. I was not able to find any other flight. Right after we got notified the flight has been departed. I had to find this plane manually by searching through China Mainland and this was the only plane up in the Air that had taken off and gone to Alaska.
After all this fun tracking, seeing if you are in wave 1 or 2 and sharing departure times I dare say it may be slightly anticlimactic them the iPhone arrives!
