Are you going to order the new iPhone 14?

I’m from Canada and I know there’s a thread for Canada, but there’s very little to nothing happening there lol. I follow this thread every year but I have to chime in here and say I love this!

I ordered iPhone 14 Pro 128GB Deep Purple just minutes into the preorders. Delivery date still shows as Sept. 16 but can’t seem to get tracking by reference on UPS my choice no matter how I try ☹️ Maybe I’m in a completely different shipment because Canadian models are different in that we still have a sim tray 🤷🏻‍♂️

Last update for my iPhone 14 Pro Max is

Arrived at Facility
09/11/2022 9:50 PM
ZhengZhou, CN

Anyone else with me??
Yes, I am and many others. Maybe about 1/2 to 1/3 of original Wave 2 was still in Zhengzhou hopefully we’re on the Cargolux to Anchorage that took off about 20 minutes ago. Scans lag the actual event up to an hour. So we may see movement on UPS scans in another 40 minutes.

Ok, last time I commented on this thread, I said that I strongly suspect that my phone is either still in Zhengzhou, or it is on a charter flight that can't be tracked. I now strongly suspect that it is the former rather than the latter. If it was on a charter flight, at some point I would have seen a departure scan or an export scan or something.

There is no way that my iPhone is taking a charter flight from China to Louisville....it has to stop in Anchorage and it will be scanned there and the flight time between ZZ and Anchorage is only around 10 hours. So, I should've seen a scan at some point today, but I haven't. As such, I strongly think that my iPhone and others who haven't seen a single scan since ZhengZhou, are still stuck in ZhengZhou waiting for a plane.

Certainly seems like the Canucks would have a different batch. Have you had it delivered from Apple by UPS in the past?

Awesome thanks! How do people track the planes? Just don’t want to be out of the loop lol

keep an eye out for UPS Scans for Wave 2B. Long shot, but this took off just 5 min ago. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see updates in 30-ish minutes for departure View attachment 2059917

This flight was diverted to ORD so highly unlikely

Lots of people are still stuck in ZZ. You'll leave tomorrow.

Check UPS in about 40 minutes.

Feel like my phone is laying on a dusty shelf somewhere. No updates in almost 48 hours. Not looking good.
If I had a nickel for every time this has happened to me, I‘d have about 30 cents. Usually it updates the morning or day before it gets on the Delivery truck when this happens to me, but has never been late.

"Hi, UPS...I'm calling about my iPhone shipment from Apple.... (Click...Dialtone.......)...Hello....UPS.....?" Yeah, they love us.. LOL
Lmao. I have started to wonder how it'll go when we all begin calling in to hold delivery at our CCs. I was initially planning on doing it online but apparently there's a fee?

Usually, you see a departure scan on your tracking # on UPS.com. Then you go to a website like flightaware.com or any other flight tracking website and you try to match the departure scan time with a flight's departure time that is leaving that city and arriving at or near your destination, like Anchorage or US/Canada shipments. If the two matches, then, most likely, you have found your flight. If they don't match, then do another search.
