This is the next public / possible cargo flight out of CGO to ANC. So another alternative. Have over 18 hours to departure though.

Eh I don’t either. My husband has a reference number for his and our daughter’s phones. His UPS My Choice is always working.

Mine never does. However I did go in and see my package matching information was all messed up. Instead of my first and last name I had my initials and last name. I have a first name I’m not overly fond of so I go by my initials and for some reason I did that when I signed up. Doofus. And my email account was my gmail account. But my iCloud account is what’s on the package.

So I updated all my information to match the information on the package. Which I was able to get using a reference number. But I wasn’t able to get the full tracking number. I forgot what my husband said his status was but he’s on one of the two first waves so I assume I am, too.

I’ll see if anything updates tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s telling me I have no packages coming to me. It knows! But it’s not telling me. 😢.

My husband and I had the same issue. The resolution was I had to delete his my choice account and added him as household member to my account. One household address can only have one account.

One Cargolux left about 42 minutes ago. Two sites show it’s diverting to Chicago (ORD). Flightaware is still tracking it to Anchorage. A bit odd of a flight plan as others are observing. If not, there’s an Air China flight but that doesn’t leave for another 18 hours.

Mine also departed. On a side note I received my Apple screen protector and clear cover today in two separate packages. Both had tire marks from getting run over.

Also CargoLux is a European based cargo company. 99% sure it’s not shipping Apple hardware, UPS isn’t even their customer if they were chartering planes.

Yeah, but the last two years were strange years when the supply chain was insanely strapped and Apple had to pull out all of the stops to get their iPhones into their customers' hands, no questions asked....

I don't think this year will pan out like the last 2 years, the supply chain is slowly coming back to normal and Apple doesn't have to do anything extraordinary.

I’m an apple fan, but tracking flights is a bit obsessive.

But the beauty of this thread is that it's for the obsessed, the non-obsessed (for the occasional on-looker), and everyone in between. Basically...its a community for all!

I agree with you 100%. Apple is back to using UPS. So the crew members that are stuck in China will be departing on a UPS Flight. When is that going to be unknown? I hope tonight or tomorrow morning!

Certainly seems like the Canucks would have a different batch. Have you had it delivered from Apple by UPS in the past?

Yeah, it’s always been delivered by UPS and I’ve always got it on launch day when it says I will. So I’m confident it’ll arrive Friday, but would be nice to see the tracking lol

I doubt it will be Air China. It will be UPS, Atlas, or maybe Kalitta or last resort Cargolux if Apple/UPS gets desperate.

I should add that UPS has never failed to get my phone at least within the vicinity of my house on launch day. I do recall one time it actually showed up a day or two early! That was sometime around the iPhone 4 or 5 era.

Another more recent one, it was either the X or XS, the phone was actually on the truck out for delivery that Friday, but it never came. My delivery got re-scheduled for the coming Monday. Bummer but what can you do,

And then without any notification or warning that it would be coming before Monday, it just showed up on that Saturday morning anyway when I wasn’t home. So yeah, it was one day late, glad to not have to wait an extra 2 days on top of that but I was still a little upset they didn’t even warn it would be delivered or out for delivery! Just left the package outside and it was supposedly signed for by me even though I was nowhere near my house!

Anyway, that’s the only time they ever missed a launch day delivery. And it’s not like the phone was still in Alaska or anything. It was just in a truck circling around my block for 6 hours without anyone actually attempting a delivery.

I’m confident these will show up on Friday, even if they’re still showing 9:50 ZZ as the last scan
