I ask this with the utmost respect: why do people care about where their phones are so far before release? I saw my order go to UPS. I saw it said 09/16 and I closed the app.

Admittedly, I opened the tracking info after seeing 467 pages of people talking about where it is in CN and when it’s shipping out, etc. I’m ignorant to the excitement and am genuinely curious what the hype is about.

I think my original time stamps lined up with Wave 2 but both my orders have moved with Wave 1 so maybe I was squeezed in at the last minute.

I’ve made it anchorage as of 12:38am!

So lots of movement for the first wave folks which is awesome to see. When do we think wave 3/4 will start seeing some movement? I am in the 09/28*10/3 range and hoping to see some movement here soon. I believe some in my group have gotten their loan info so I would assume that's a sign things are beginning to move? maybe?
Looking at past few years it should move up to next weekend.

good to know I'm not the only one!
My time stamps were out of order but mines in Anchorage and was in the same batch as yours. Check the time stamps carefully again hopefully you're in the same situation and overlooked it, I kept checking and finally noticed it after 10 refreshes 😆

Just going with the data that we have. Man, I’m going to miss Sierra blue iPhone. Anyone feels the same way?
Yeah I have my graphite 13 ProMax and of the last 3 years it has been my favorite. If there had not been the major camera improvement I might have taken year off but apple always gets me LOL as my wife tells me when I told her I might skip a year ha ha

No, some of us are still in ZZ.
Mine still says ZZ as well. I remember more times than not this being the situation on launch day, and then morning of you wake up to a bunch of scans and an “out for delivery”. And all the scans match the scans of all the people in here having all the fun. Just pretend everything is ok!

My wife (who thinks I am nuts LOL) said it but I also had been thinking. We are like little children excited for Christmas morning and what gifts (toys) we will find In this case we know our toy/gift but the excitement and feeling is the same for us. We here are all apple nerds/techies through and through and love our iphones more than most of the non techie people with smart phones also so we like to hang together and share the excitement and information, and lives with our fellow iphone aficionados, and wait for Christmas morning (er iphone arrival day LOL) because we are too excited to sleep (of course this is a week process and at 72 I do get my 7 plus hours each night). It is fun each year to share this excitement with our fellow iphone friends during this week.

I don't believe that.

I think the phones that made it to ANC got there ahead of schedule, and UPS will allow them to sit until more phones are in ANC. Then, in 1 day, all of the iPhones destined for CA/US will ship to Louisville and be processed accordingly.
No warehousing in AK, just a fuel stop. They have to keep those planes in the air, so we will sit in KY until Thursday. I caught an early flight a few years ago and that’s what my tracking showed.
