So it’s safe to assume us in-store folks phones are also traveling with the people from china. And my friend low key tip that phones should arrive in stores tomorrow evening seems to be spot on 😂.

I don't believe that.
I think the phones that made it to ANC got there ahead of schedule, and UPS will allow them to sit until more phones are in ANC. Then, in 1 day, all of the iPhones destined for CA/US will ship to Louisville and be processed accordingly.
It did the year there was a typhoon because a bunch of flights were rerouted. It’s not a typical route, but they have used it before.

I have wondered so we have 1200 of the new iphone buyers on our thread here. I know some places indicated on opening day 5 million phones (for a time) a minute so probably 10’s of millions of orders. I wonder how many are just not apple techies like us and just order but given I see only 1200 here makes me think that total apple techies with iphones is just a small percentage. I have wondered looking at threads here, other mac media it seems the ones who are in depth apple techies are a small percentage on these sites and forums. Just pondering as our plane flies to Louisville and I enjoy cup number two of my coffee
I was told by Apple Support on the weekend that I'd be charged when the phone ships, so my educated guess is we hitched a ride with these lovely folks.
Could be true but this is a connecting flight to KY. Last year scanning was delayed and this could the year too. Last year scanning disappeared after Alaska as well. So, I wouldn’t be surprised. We shouldn’t be staying in Alaska for extra day or so.

So lots of movement for the first wave folks which is awesome to see. When do we think wave 3/4 will start seeing some movement? I am in the 09/28*10/3 range and hoping to see some movement here soon. I believe some in my group have gotten their loan info so I would assume that's a sign things are beginning to move? maybe?
Wave 3/4 should start after the end of this week. I believe. They might receive their iPhones on Monday or Tuesday and so on.

I have also had it in previous years where it seemed like multiple scans showed up at one time....delayed. The main thing is your date is set for 9/16. Regardless of flight this and that...it will be here come launch day.
