My order detail page says the phone should arrive Fri Sep 16 by Standard Delivery, but the order status still shows "Preparing to Ship". I can use my phone number as the reference ID and I see something on the UPS website, but there are no details other than delivery Friday. Since I don't have the full tracking number (Apple hasn't given it to me yet) I have no idea where the darned thing is. I need to verify which address it's using also. I placed the order, and it used my work ( I guess that was setup as default), then I changed my address for a short period of time Friday morning after I ordered to home, but then back to the work address since there will be someone to sign for it. However - my case showed up today at the house (even though the order shows the work address).

I only bought one iPhone, now I wish I'd bought two so I could track two aircraft. Not sure I can stay awake until ANC on this either.

UPS will be busy for sure with calls just as yours. I'm pretty sure, by Thursday, you should see it flip to confirmed, or changed to pickup at CC, or something like that. You should also get an e-mail Thursday night or Friday morning confirming your phone is at the CC and ready for pickup.

Even with all this, we're all human and I think one time UPS put my phone on the truck despite my hold requests and confirmations...been a good while since that happened - but it can.

Thanks for this. If they happen to put it on the truck, as long as I get it Friday, i'll be fine, lol!

Do you know when that becomes an option? Delivery day? I am a bit paranoid - can I tell them to put it in something to conceal it on the porch? This is my first new phone in 5 years, I'm so excited - I'd be devastated if it got sniped from the porch!! I think my husband will be home, and UPS usually doesn't come until 5pm, but I'll be busy until 7 or so... gah!!

Under the app or website go to preferences and set your delivery options there, i.e. Front door, security code if you have one, shipment release, etc.
