This may be a daft question but I haven't done a pre-order on a phone in a LOOOONG time; Does someone need to be present to sign for it through UPS in the US? Or is there a way to pre-sign for UPS?

You can authorize the release on the app if you have a ups my choice account. I always do that, and leave a note on the door that simply reads “ups, please leave package at door”, signed, dated, and tracking number on it. Never failed in the past, not for iPhones or any other package.

If this has been asked, I apologize. But Apple.com is telling me 9/23 delivery. But UPS is saying 9/16 by 7pm.

Pro Max 256gb space gray. Ordered at 7:05 am cst 9/9.

Do I even get my hopes up that I’ll get on 9/16?

I also had the dreaded 9/23 delivery via Postal Service. UPS says delivery on 9/16 so I'm going with that!

My 13 Pro is at 93% only after a year…one reason why I upgrade every year. Ain’t got time to worry about charging habits lol

I’ve had the pro max ever since the X .. I’ve got long fingers and love the size. I always get gray or black, never anything fun, so this year I’m getting the deep purple! Not that it matters much because the leather case will be on it immediately lol.

Are you a yearly upgrader? I bet you’ll love the new deep purple. I was thinking about getting it as well, but at the last minute I changed my mind. But, yeah, that’s true the cases cover it up anyway lol

Do you know when that becomes an option? Delivery day? I am a bit paranoid - can I tell them to put it in something to conceal it on the porch? This is my first new phone in 5 years, I'm so excited - I'd be devastated if it got sniped from the porch!! I think my husband will be home, and UPS usually doesn't come until 5pm, but I'll be busy until 7 or so... gah!!
